Men never conquer mountains, not even climb it, the mountains allow us only to crawl over it on one side . At an altitude of 17688feet ( u can see the green sign board in background)at changla pass, is literally the highest point for me in 2017. I thank the mighty Himalayas to allow me to crawl over it .The only feeling apart from feeling awesome was deep sense of gratitude.and suddenly from nowhere this dog or wolf dog came before me but was having its own doubt to come near me I was happy to see some life without thermal wears was able to withstand such sub zero temperatures and at crazy altitudes carrying on its life . I said a hello and finally bid adieu to the only life form I saw there in its natural state. wikipedia advised us not to spend more than 25 mins at Chang la cos of thin air meaning low levels of O2 . Changla claims to be the second highest motorable pass in the world. Kinda feels like standing on top of the world literally.from leh changla is the gateway to reach the frozen pangong lake. There were sign boards of avalanche alerts throughout, but the landscape was so stunning and breathtaking , so alerts were not scary .It was on a whole a very humbling experience.what more a traveller can ask for?At Chang la I promised to myself to come again in 2018. Any guys out there planning to Chang la in 2018?
