Ran the Tata Steel 25km Kolkata Marathon at a time of 1.46hrs at an average pace of 4.15 and came 2nd in my age group with an overall ranking of 33rd... It was a smooth run with lovely weather taking us into the heart of this magnificent city that seems to have been inextricably stuck in time.. The only issue I had was the convergence of the 10km runners in the last 5km that upset my rhythm as I had to wade through thousands of slow runners but otherwise I am quite happy with the run.. What an awesome day. We won some, we lost some. We came home with a few a medals. @denvermerrfieldnirva won a gold medal in the purple belt division. @alochoa2836 won a silver medal in the blue belt division. @johntburns won a bronze medal in the brown belt division. We are, at the end of the day, Team Absolute and stand behind one another. A good day of competition!

It energizes you!!!!! You no doubt have days when you just feel too tired to exercise, when working out is the last thing in the world you want to do.
But no matter how exhausted you are from a long day at work, taking care of your family or recovering from a busy weekend, do your best to muster up all the willpower you have and still work out, because more likely than not, you'll feel more energized after your workout than you did before it.
So the next time you force yourself to get off the couch and get into workout mode, you’ll most likely feel more energized throughout the rest of the day. And more energy equals greater happiness.
