Mum would put them in sandwiches for school ( you read alfalfa & thought of little rascals didn’t ya 😂) But have you stopped to consider what these bad boys are worth? They’re low in calories but offer a number of nutrients such as Vitamin A, C & K, folate, manganese, magnesium and phosphorus. Golden Lentil Stew in the InstaPot! I've been home all day, still in my pj's if you wanna know and I've got a lot of cooking done! Abel has been sleeping on & off all day and Zola has been just occupying herself. This stew is full of flavor from turmeric, ginger, & cumin. And the lentils broke down nicely from being pressure cooked. Here's how I made it-
1 small onion, chopped
2 medium carrots, chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1 tbsp ginger, minced
1 tsp. Cumin
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp sea salt.
Heat 1 tbsp coconut oil in InstaPot on saute setting. Add all the veggies cooking a few minutes adding in spices.
Then add in 2 cups rinsed orange/red lentils, 2 cups chopped cauliflower, 32 oz. Vegetable broth. Put lid on and hit pressure cooker and set the timer for 12 minutes! Yep that's it. When it was done I mixed in handfuls of spinach.
And yes you could do this without the instapot. Be well my friends. FLOCONS D'AVOINE ET CHOCO ENERGY BALLS
1 cup de flocon d'avoine
1/2 cup de beurre de cacahuète ou beurre d'amande
1/4 cup de miel
1/4 cup de chocolat noir concassé ou en pépites
1/4 cup de noix de coco râpée 🌴
Mélanger le tout dans un bol, faire des petites boules et mettre au frais ❄
BROWNIE ENERGY BALLS
1 cup de noix de cajou
1/4 cup de poudre de cacao cru
1 cup de dattes medjool + 3 cs d'eau
1/4 cup de fèves de cacao cru
enrobage : poudre de cacao, noix de coco râpée🍫🌴
Hacher les fèves de cacao et mettre de côté.
Mixer les noix pour les réduire en poudre, ajouter le cacao, mélanger et mettre de côté. Mixer les dattes coupées en petits morceaux avec l'eau. Mélanger tous les ingrédients pour obtenir une pâte homogène, faire des petites boules, enrober avec du cacao ou du coco et mettre au frais

Spent some much needed time out here after my beautiful toxin free facial by @nurtureandnourish_ at @kindred.toxinfreefacials . Bonus was I got to see Nat too after a year of ill health. What you'll need:
2 frozen banana
1/2 bunch of mint leaves
3 tbsp coconut milk
1 tbsp plant protein powder or almond flour
2 vegan vanilla-chocolate bars (instead of chocolate but it's just a matter of choice)

After finishing my rose cream last month, I lived with only balm and toner for a couple of weeks. It was quite an interesting experiment.

Balance between oil and water is indeed important in moisturizer. Oil itself cannot handle the thirst of our skin, I think.

yes, I would agree this isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing bowl in the world but I would argue it tasted amazing & took my a total of 5 minutes to put together so that’s a #win for me 🙌🏻😏 I heated up some fire roasted frozen red yellow bell peps & onion in a pan with avo oil and added some frozen corn and cauli rice (all from @traderjoes), then added that to a bowl with brown rice, black beans, avocado, lots of nutritional yeast and sriracha! lots of veggies, colors and yums 🤗🥑🌽 #inthenosh
