Lately I have had the worse type of heart burn...Sometimes, it actually keeps me up at night. I started reading up on peppers only to find out that my love for ginger was the cause of my heart burn 🙄...Anyway, what’s your favorite kind of pepper? I have a deep love for habaneros(it has to be red), Poblanos and the Italian sweet pepper which reminds me of tatase...the bell peppers work great as a substitute...Do you know that some peppers are a type of aphrodisiac?

I don't think I'd ever be a chef for real. The lack of funds and time for culinary school notwithstanding, I cook for myself, not others, the vast majority of the time. I get nervous when I know I'm cooking for someone else and I find a way to screw it up: self-fulfilling prophecy that they won't like it. Also, I'm perfectly content just trying shit out.
Like this: stuffed yellow peppers with ground pork marinaded in coffee, finely chopped onion, garlic, frozen veggies, steel cut oatmeal, and parmesan cheese. It worked....this time. Next time, who knows?
