Meet: @erinmorgan0929 I began my weightloss and fitness journey back in my early 20's, but after many failed attempts to lose weight and being denied life insurance based on my weight alone I started the process of gastric bypass in 2013. February 4, 2013, my life changed for the better when I underwent rny. After 10 days of recovery, I hit the gym and haven't looked back since. After dropping 150lbs, I rewarded myself with getting my yoga teacher certification. . In early 2017, I had plastic surgery to remove 8lbs of skin from my abdomen. My hope is that my IG account will encourage even just one person to start their own journey to a healthy lifestyle and to help others realize that fit and healthy comes in many shapes and sizes. In my eyes, body positive means loving and accepting yourself at every step of your journey. Starting tip: Keep pushing through. Happy Friyay ❤ I decided to take some progress pics in mah one piece because I never do and because I haven't tried it on in a while. I'm happy to say that my body composition has changed drastically since the last time I've worn this about a year ago (hint hint for a #transformationtuesday post in da near future 🤗). I've been trucking along and doing my #fallchallenge alongside 13 other clients and this coming Sunday marks Week 4 aka the halfway point. There's been ups and downs but consistency always pushes me through. I've been really focusing on my training a lot lately and a liiiiittle less on social media, so I'm going to try kick up the "being more open and talking to y'all more" notch a bit (just a bit) 😉

#flexfriday and a late #transformationtuesday -- I got a lot of negative bs for a post on my story yesterday saying I photoshopped my arms or I look manly/gross, and that I need to get off whatever I'm on...WELLLLLLL lmao a girl can't have a pump 😂👌 1. I may add a filter here and there or cover a blemish buttttt I have never altered my overall appearance -- I have always had decent size arms and have never struggled to grow there (it's the lower half that is struggling) and I added photos from different stages even to my very first photo before I started competing in 2015 to show yes I've grown but it didn't happen overnight DUH! 2. Manly? lol maybe I don't put makeup on everyday and I'm a tomboy but far from manly, so I'll take that as you're reaching for that insult 👌 3. Get off stuff? 😂😂 I'll just leave that because no matter what, people always assume no one truly puts in work and we are all taking something, but even if people do it doesn't mean they don't work their ass off, and if they aren't they don't need to prove or explain it to those who can't truly tell the difference or who think women taking creatine is taking "stuff" give me a break 😂🤔🙄 4. I DONT GIVE A CRAP WHAT YOU THINK! -- your need to go out of your way with attempts to insult or throw shade is only mirroring your lack of knowledge, good character, and giving light to your own insecurities. Helloooo remember me? Yea I've been traveling a ton for work in Europe so I'm not really posting and that is fine for me and I've only worked out twice this week. Also ok by me. I'm absolutely exhausted from no sleep and jet lag and really long days. But this is my life right now and I never thought I'd even be so lucky to travel for work doing a job I love in the career path I set for myself (where are my engineers at @colbylivesfit 👩🏽🔬). I've been to two new countries so far and eaten all sorts of weird foods and had some awful coffee. So. Here is a throwback to some deficit DLs standing on a plate at 185lb. I've lost a lot of pull strength since my back injury but I know I'm strong and I hope to be even stronger by the end of the year even with this set back. Let's go 300lb lift!! My current 1RM is 265. Also I'm so excited to be in Italy this weekend and meeting @feliesparis in Amsterdam next week. That is the best amazing part of this community. I told her we'd meet one day and now it will be true 💕💕💕 so if I'm on here less and less it's bc I'm living life. Life has been a rocky road these past couple of weeks, as it usually is when I start a new semester. I’ve had a whirlwind of emotions spinning around in my life + some days I don’t know how to handle them. I like being busy, but often times I’m that person that takes on every single task someone asks of me because I don’t want to say no— I don’t want to let people down. Saying no makes me feel vulnerable + like I’m not capable. Having two jobs means finding time to workout is tough. My half marathon is in three short weeks + I haven’t been able to run basically since classes started because I can’t find the time. I rarely get to go to the gym right now which is what relieves my stress, but I have to take advantage of the opportunities I do get to sweat [Like Tuesday SS ; ) ]. I could go on ++ on... I’m stressed + worn down [hello ONLY week four of classes]. I’ve been talking to different people about this to see what steps I should take to make changes so I can work towards being happier + in a healthier state. To start, I’ve dedicated Friday mornings to sitting on my balcony, listening to a podcast + drinking coffee on my own time. No rush, no place to be... just content + in my own zone. I always want to use my phone less so I have all notifications turned off. I read an article today about how your phone can add stress to your life [as it does to mine, 100%]. I can’t stress the importance of mental health as well as physical health, because they go so hand in hand.
• Self-care is NEVER selfish.
•Work on yourself, for yourself, by yourself ++ make yourself proud.
• Work hard— always.
• Do more of what makes you happy

Involve others. The cliché ‘if you need something doing, do it yourself’ although 90% true, comes with a caveat. You almost always need to rely on others. How you feel, think, eat, sleep and live is mostly dictated to by people and situations out of your control.
