When I talk to people about practicing self care, the most common responses I get are that they either don't know what that looks like or that they don't have time. HUMP DAYYYY what what 👏🏼 made it halfway through the week. 2 finals down, 1 more to go! this semester has been nothing short of crazy but it’s been so transformative in a lot of ways. can’t believe I’m almost done with college 🙃 #thankful
having vanilla collagen oats for breaky this morning 💆🏼♀️🧘🏼♀️ cooked some @quaker oats with @califiafarms unsweetened almond milk and @simplyorganicfoods cinnamon and nutmeg over medium heat. once it got all creamy, transferred it to a bowl, mixed in some @vitalproteins vanilla collagen peptides and topped the bowl with @coyo_is_coconuts coconut yogurt, @elementalsuperfood crumble, slices applies, cashew butter, and a drizzle of honey for breaks. SO GOOD. hit the spot 📍 now off to go be productive 👋🏼 wish me luck!
you already know what time it is 😏 it's waffle wednesday! and this week it's ☕️ PEPPERMINT MOCHA WAFFLES 🍫 on the menu! if you like the starbucks holiday drink, then you'll absolutely love these - it's a more mild (aka not such an overpowering sugar taste) flavor and i don't know about you, but i'd pick these over starbucks any day 🙋🏻 really getting into the holiday spirit with all of these seasonal flavors ❄️ can't wait to make more! happy wednesday ☺️ .
PEPPERMINT MOCHA WAFFLES ☕️: .
- half a banana, mashed 🍌.
- two @peteandgerrys eggs 🍳.
- 4Tbsp fresh brewed coffee or cold brew ☕️.
- 1/4tsp peppermint extract (could use fresh mint, but i havent tried and you'd have to blend it into the liquid ingredients) 🍃.
- 1tsp @eatingevolved chocolate spread 🍫.
MIX all of the wet ingredients together then move on to the dry.
- 2Tbsp @bobsredmill coconut flour .
- 2Tbsp cacao powder 🍫.
- 1tsp baking powder .
ADD dry ingredients to the wet and then mix all together (you won't need added water, the batter should be similar to a brownie batter consistency) and then add your mix in's (choco chips, cacao nibs, collagen, adaptogens, etc - all optional) 👩🏻🍳 then pour into a hot, greased (with avo or coconut oil) waffle iron to cook. once they're done, stack/plate them and top them with whatever you'd like 🥞 ENJOY!!! // #healthyfood#breakfast

A little over a month ago Inward was released on Amazon. It has been such a transformative time for me personally, seeing something that I have worked on for so long come to life and start spreading and supporting people in their growth. Something that is intimately connected with my own growth, something that would not exist had I not taken my own healing seriously. I did not know that my life would lead into making something that can be physically held, adding it to the ocean of humanity, letting it go, allowing it to take its own course and move into the hands and minds of people who wish to spend time with it. It is affirming to hear how Inward is serving people well - my goal and hope was always to create something that would help people see that healing ourselves is possible and that personal transformation is an essential part of global transformation.
With or without Inward, it gives me hope to see so many people going deep within themselves, taking hold of their malleability and start observing and releasing with the purpose of bringing to life new versions of themselves that are wiser, happier, clearer and more equanimous. Many are realizing that the missing peace in the world is the same peace we lack in our minds and hearts - this is a medicine the world needs. Whenever people move together, the world changes.
Sending love to all beings. May we all continue cultivating our personal freedom and may that freedom be added to the collective freedom of humanity. May we all be happy and free. May we all heal ourselves and the world.

Enjoy the Moment
With so many plans and a to-do list that seems to go on forever, staying in the moment can be really tough. The problem is that if you’re constantly thinking about what you need to do next, you’re not enjoying yourself in the moment.
To help yourself enjoy this season, consider adding a gratitude practice to your routine. Each day, write down three things you are grateful for. You may find that this helps you appreciate the season and focus on all the great things the season has to offer.
Pick the Right Foods
It’s natural to enjoy some treats this time of year, but opting for healthier items when possible can help keep immunity up during this busy season.
On the days you’re not celebrating and in the hours leading up to an event, opt for high-quality fats, lean proteins, and complex carbohydrates in your meals.
Choose quality foods over quantity foods. As Petersen explains, “If you eat eggs daily, choose cage-free and organic. These options tend to have better farming practices and humanely raised animals. If you are consuming beef, poultry, or fish, you’ll want to look for grass-fed and grass-finished meats, organic poultry, and wild-caught fish.” Squeeze in Exercise
No time to sweat? Even if you can’t get in a full workout, moving your body can help support digestion and a good mood – which can be important during this sometimes stressful time. There are tons of options: spinning, yoga, Pilates, barre, HIIT, running, walking, and more. It might be fun to try a completely new workout with a friend!
