Layers of hills shrouded in haze between Uttarkashi and Chamba, Uttrakhand, India. . . .
I also have a travel group on Facebook www.facebook.com/groups/hikingtrekkingandbackpacking. I would love to have you on the group and inspire others to take the journeys you have done.
Mountains are calling? 😇
I can go on working for days with least amount of sleep, but I would prefer listening to the sound of the flowing stream and thinking about my stream of thoughts.
On many days my mind thinks of those prayers flags fluttering under that vast sky thinking about answers to all the questions that life keeps on asking. As if they are conveying the answers through the winds passing across the Himalayas.
All those steady roads taking you to the destination of your dreams are beautiful until you encounter a bump which shakes your perception. Either that bump will come and you will make changes or you won't allow that bump to come and just go with the flow.
This picture makes me understand that we must look at things which are in front of us, today. The past doesn't define us anymore. Only those beautiful memories are to be taken and cherished.
“There are so many doors to open. I am impatient to begin." It’s exactly how I felt when I started my temple run in Telengana (my first among the southern states). The architecture and sculptures are overwhelmingly beautiful in this part of the country, and I am looking forward, rather impatiently, to my next trip, to maybe Karnataka...so many more new doors to open! This photo was taken at the entrance doorway of the Nameswara temple at Pillalamarri village in Telengana. We landed here by mistake, while searching for another temple, and the man in the picture who was sunning himself near the temple, took the trouble of calling the priest and getting the temple doors opened for us. *********************************************
