Got my hair inspo from these beautiful Queens 🙌🏾
Loving seeing famous black women wearing their hair in more traditional/natural hairstyles.
Letting the next generation of young girls grow up loving their natural hair rather than wishing for Caucasian straight hair. 👊🏾
Good morning ❣️ It’s okay not to be okay. I needed this reminder because I’m not feeling great and there are days like this. Sometimes it’s important to remember that there are some days when you’re not “on your grind” and it’s perfectly normal to step back and recuperate. It’s not giving up- it’s catering to your needs. If you don’t take care of your own health, how can you give out your best? Shoutout to the amazing ambitious females in tech @falkyou @tara.hackley @thecodeness who share their encouragement for the work/life balance 🙌🏽 I’m working from home today (on bug fixes 🐛), and then doing a jazz class which I’m super excited for 💃🏽💕💕

This is such a big issue for black women...ebony women... and the standard that society holds us to. what makes it worse is it's our black men, I feel they aren't even fighting for us, hell my own father even chooses a lighter complexion than his daughter, he hates his reflection . He once said to me "if it ain't vanilla then I don't even want it." ; it's sad -- we go through so much, and not even half will know our struggle. #blackwoman#naturalhair#beauty#blog#weaves - #sewins#AFROlatina#afrohair#natutalhairstyles#dominican
