There's been a lot of buzz about ~slow travel~ lately, which sounds super cool, but not everyone has time to spend weeks or months in a place. Good thing you've got me 😉 New post up on the blog now about how to get the benefits of slow travel even when you don't have time to actually go slow PLUS where to stay in Osaka ✨ @relastay
Nous sommes à Bali depuis quelques jours et je dois dire que je suis charmée par tous ces visages souriants que nous croisons. J’ai rarement vu des gens avec l’air aussi accueillant et bienveillant.
We’ve been in #Bali for a few days now and I must say I am completely charmed by all the #smiling faces we see. I have rarely seen people who look so welcoming and kind.

As much as I love the rainy season here in Cambodia, at this time of the year you’re almost guaranteed cloudless skies and beautiful sunrises
Here a monk sits quietly meditating in the morning light as it streams through the temple ruins of Angkor Wat.
"Let your weird light shine bright, so the other weirdos know where to find you." – Anonymous, ironically 🌃
A night out in Shanghai – so many bright lights it was hard to tell when the sun had gone and the neon kicked in. I took this in the midst of a downpour; unexpected, torrential but gone within a few minutes as the warmth of the night closed back in.
This sad lion monument was built to commemorate Swiss guards who were massacred during the French revolution. The rest of Lucerne is not as depressing as this place having a view of a pretty lake and Swiss Alps and I really wished we had longer time to explore. #Lucerne#Switzerland#PlacesIveBeen2017
I could imagine myself living and working in Zurich even if I don’t like being away from home. I love how it felt so laid back, it’s a chocolate heaven and nature is just so beautiful, only drawback is everything is so expensive. #Zurich#Switzerland#PlacesIveBeen2017
"The world is indeed full of peril and in it are many dark places. But still there is much that is fair. And though in all lands, love is now mingled with grief, it still grows, perhaps, the greater." -J.R.R. Tolkien Sometimes you just have a rough couple of days. Thankful for a beautiful world that makes me look so small.
This was the house of an artist in Kyoto. It was very obviously influenced by Western and Korean architecture, and yet it's somehow still entirely Japanese, something that is true of nearly everything imported into Japan 🌿
