It’s been awhile since I posted. Life’s been kinda hectic but I have still gotten in my workout every day! It’s my number one priority each day! .
Today’s picture is after Cardio Core from A Little Obsessed. I’m feeling my post workout high while my husband feels death due to his lack of cardio training 🤣🤣🤣. .
My number one advice while trying to get more fit is to surround yourself by people who support you and keep you accountable. For me, my number one fan is my husband. When I suggest he join me for a workout he never says no. He knows it’s important for me to have his support!

So thankful I got a little obsessed early this morning with my favorites live at 9.... it was cardio... oh cardio how I love to hate you. Still dealing with a cough so it was hard to push myself. It was fun though. I’m missing the 45-60 minute work outs thou.... I never thought I would say that but I do. I’m thinking I need them back in my life starting Monday. 😜 •

Usually I take a selfie right after my workout today I was a little rushed cause the kids wanted to go out and play. Let me say this after Cardio core today the colder air made me feel that workout lol 😂. Would I have loved to stay in shower and not feel the soreness from the cold? Yes however this is one of the reasons I push myself so I can play with my kids so I can be not just a mom bit a mom who can keep up with her kids and help them have childhood memories or running around in fallen leaves. Today's workout from A Little Obsessed was seriously no joke! 3 minutes of non stop cardio followed by a 20-30 second core move and right back to cardio!
This was one of the hiit moves...running twisted mountain climbers. It basically works EVERYTHING! I love this move!
Keep your core tight, belly button in, hands under shoulders, hips up.
I had to share this experience….
I just spent 20 minutes on the phone with the most delightful guy! He was a customer service rep with Beachbody. I had a question to ask him and he answered it and he spent some time on the phone getting to know me and asking me about how my experience has been since I have been a Team Beachbody Coach, we talked about Columbus, Ohio, we talked about where he lives - California, we talked like old friends. He showed a genuine interest in me and what I was doing and how my experience with the company has been…not in a “survey” way but in a “I really am interested” way. He made me feel a little lighter and a little happier. That particular person is just a sampling of what this company is about. Plus, he said he would send me some “Daily Sunshine” packets because he enjoyed speaking with me. Now, that is a good day! #iamteambeachbody#spartanation#carldiakler#autumncalabrese
See this little piece of plastic? It’s my best friend but why I have it is my freaking enemy. I’ve had asthma since I was 2 (28 years) there was a time I took this thing DAILY sometimes multiple times even without exercising. Get to 6th grade and start track and see HUGE improvement until a cold front that October hit me hard and I didn’t have it during a volleyball game (I turned blue with purplish lips). There was also a time I avoided exercise because I knew I’d need it. Now? I can’t remember when I took it last and workout every day with it close for just in case no reason to die. Obstacles and excuses are always there BUT excuses don’t burn calories!
Do I enjoy doing laundry 👕? No, but I do it anyway. Why? So I have clean clothes to wear.
Do I enjoy every workout 🏋️♀️I do? No, but I do it anyway. Why? Because I love ❤️ how I feel when I am done!

Now, I am NOT saying that exercise is not important because it definitely is. What I am saying is that what you put into your body to fuel it is SO important to reaching your goals.
When I read that quote this morning, I had one of those💡 moments! This was exactly what was happening to me right now.
As you probably already know, I am dealing with an injury 🤕, so my workouts have not been as intense as they were. Remember I just came off of marathon 🏃♀️ training, which burns A LOT of calories.
I knew because of the change in intensity of my workouts that I really needed to focus on my nutrition. It has been a game changer for me the last 2 weeks.
I was scared 😬 that I was going to gain weight because my workouts were going to be so much different. Guess what?! I couldn't have been more WRONG!
I have been focusing on my nutrition (85/15) and working out (strength training only) no more than 30 minutes a day. I feel better than I did when I was training harder and not being as strict with my nutrition.
I am happier 😁. I have more energy ⚡. I am not hungry 🍓. I am sleeping better 😴. As if that isn't enough to keep me going, I am also down 3 pounds. I try not to focus on the scale, especially when I am strength training because it changes A LOT, but seeing it go down when I am limited as to what I can do exercise-wise tells me everything I need to know.
Dang cardio got me like 😅. And it got me sweating in just 30 minutes. I love my home workouts just because I get to do them when it fits in with my schedule. And this workout, I am a little obsessed with. Can’t wait for the full program in January. Loving the previews. I really hate cardio day but it’s so fun seeing how much my cardio has improved over the last few months. Woooo winning! Happy Friday y’all!
A Little Obsessed | Day 4
I missed Wednesday and Thursday's workouts and I'm glad I did my workout today. 🙌🏻 I hate missing workouts but this week was so busy and I felt so tired I needed this little rest. Well, I’ve just about recovered from this morning. And have just completed A little obsessed cardio core ✅ I think this is my fave of the ALO workouts! Love the slider exercises! Don’t usually work out in shoes but my feet were getting really sore from max:30 plyo work. Think I’m converted! Everything seemed so much easier with a bit of cushioning on the feet! In this workout Autumn Calabrese asks for you to pick a partner, well as you can see my partner has 4 legs not two! The best partner. She doesn’t care how uncoordinated I am lol , plus I get wet kisses when I’m done!
During my workout today Autumn said "your energy comes from a positive attitude" that little nugget of wisdom was like a light bulb. People often ask me how i have enough energy to do all the things i do. I contribute it to a positive attitude and insomnia. But mostly due to my attitude, i choose to be happy and positive. What will you choose today?

With each little bit obsessed workout I'm getting more excited for 80 Day Obsession. I'm looking forward to finally toning some of my trouble zones and the challenge that these bands & sliders are already bringing.
Just because I had some sad news today does not make me stop working on my health and fitness goals.
Moving on and love one day at a time.. Time to really go hard because starting these fertility medications again will only make me gain more weight if I am not eating properly and not exercising.
I’m trying to cut out dairy from my diet and see how I do on that. So cheers to new changes coming and getting results
Getting ready for A Little Obsessed coming December then 80 day Obsession starting in January 😱 with @autumncalabrese I’m so pumped for this program. beachbody on demand users are getting a little sneak peak of what is to come.
CARDIO DAY is in the books! I am LOVING A Little Obsessed. It's the preview group to 80 Day Obsession, which launches in January. If you would have told me 10 months ago I would be doing full out jumping jacks, using sliders & bands and getting a stronger core, I would have LAUGHED at you. If you would told me I would enjoy veggies again (the 3 my body allows me to eat), I would have said you were CRAZY. But guess what?! That is ALL HAPPENING. I am an advocate on pushing your body to do things it once thought it couldn't. Why?! Because I'm proof of that motto. Nearly 4 years ago, I got sick. Like couldn't eat food and was throwing up 20+ times a day type of sick. I was threatened with a feeding tube. I told my body it needed to get its ish together because I would NOT be on a feeding tube. Since then, I've been threatened twice more. But today, I'm proof that pushing your body will make it grow leaps and bounds. I haven't been on my stomach medicine in a YEAR. And I haven't had a flare up in over a year and a half. It's all because I put it in God's hands & pushed my body. If you want to know how you can do the same, let's chat. My life right now is crazy. #newmomproblems even though this is my second child it is harder then the first. When I brought home our first I was able to sleep all day and nobody needed me if the baby was sleeping. Now there is so much more to do. My first still needs attention and I’m trying to focus on myself a little bit too. Luckily I was able to take 12 weeks maternity leave thanks to banking my PTO but it is still a struggle and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
