E X T E N S I O N on the box. The older I get the more I want to keep my back supple and healthy. This is one way to keep our back extensors strong and our spine mobile! For an extra challenge at the end try to keep the bar still in space as you move yourself toward and away from the bar while holding your extension.
Opening your heart space is something you can do literally anywhere. If you observe your body you'll find that your body naturally craves these back bending postures. Especially after long periods of inactivity. My open your heart 101 workshop on October 7th aims to help you access these poses with greater ease and effectiveness. #heartopen#backbends#camelpose
Getting my posterior body going this Monday morning. Hoping it gives me the push from behind I need to start the week! This feels awesome for opening up the chest and shoulders while challenging back extension (especially the single arm version). Hamstrings and booty get some love too! Have a good start to your week and kick some Monday booty! DM me for more details on these exercises. 💕🌸😀
Be kind to your #spine 🙏🏻It's not until you suffer with back issues that you begin to appreciate how important a healthy spine is ❤️Look after your back, protect it with a strong core, keep it flexible and don't abuse it with exercises that cause you discomfort or harm. It's important to remember when you're training (following a program, in a class or with a PT) that not ALL exercises suit ALL people. If something doesn't feel right for you, then don't do it, any good trainer should always offer modifications or alternatives. #bekindtoyourself#happyweekend#parklife
