We have been maintaining for a long time now by doing weights. We’ve decided to change it up a bit to burn some excess fat for summer so we are smashing out three different AMRAP workouts a week and cardio 💪🏼💪🏼. This was today’s workout 😍

This morning I went back to #BBG week 1 and boy did it kick my ass. I stopped BBG at week 20 for various reasons and ive regretted it for quite a while. James gave me the best surprise ever yesterday and surprised me with tickets to see the Rams play the Cardinals at Twickenham Stadium. Not only do I love American football, but my dad was a huge Rams fan, so it was an extra special night for me. Still on Cloud 9 over the entire evening and feeling very lucky to have such a wonderful human in my life.
Currently on the longest ass journey home for a week and can’t wait to reset, bring back my inspiration and just rest and indulge in self care ❤️
I never realised how much I neglect myself when I’m busy, I don’t sleep properly, I make bad food choices opting for quick sugary fixes rather than a wholesome filling meal, and cannot say no because HELL im a people pleaser. I thought this was a bad thing, but actually it’s ok to ebb and flow, to have weeks of overindulgence and weeks of just sleep and time out. I guess this is what the infamous word “BALANCE” means 😂 anyway I’m sat eating a chocolate croissant on 4 hours sleep excited for a week back home of rest, grounding, yoga, family time and some hearty homemade food ❤️

My poor boy was sick last week with a tummy bug, he was so clingy and just wanted cuddles 24/7 so suffice to say mumma was exhausted (but secretly loving the cuddles)
So lucky to be back to his happy smiling self this week and mamma is getting some much needed sleep 👌
Before I started drinking warm lemon water in the morning it was a bit of myth as to why people did it. I knew it was healthy and that was about it. So of course being the type of person that has to try something before believing it I gave it a go. I've noticed that my digestion is better, I wake up quicker, I don't crave a sugary breakfast and I generally want to eat healthier.

Nope? Oh ok... 😑 Getting outta bed this morning was rough, even for morning-person me. But I somehow managed to drag my ass to the gym at the crack of dawn, smash a #BBG full body workout (side note: even after completing the full 12 weeks, going back to week 1 is still mad hard. No jokes 😂). And you know what? Walkin outta there made me feel like a million bucks. Monday, come at me bro. Im ready for you 🙏
In all honesty the past week or two I have had ZERO motivation... Eating like shit every weekend & drinking, the subsequent hangover & thus MORE binge eating, obviously the pounds have packed on & I'm retaining not only the water weight, glucose & consequential bloating of consuming my whole body weight worth of crap food... I've gained fat (not much mind you) but enough to feel hella fluffy & lethargic... Last week & this week I have regained that motivation (by looking & comparing my peak body progress to how I am now). The motivation to want to smash out my workouts & lean out again! I have been maintaining my workouts despite eating like shit & lacking motivation to get through my BBG sessions but did them anyway. The only benefit of being in the calorie surplus that I've had these few weeks are muscle gains! Like I need new weights now, heavier ones, as they are feeling a lot lighter 😁✌ But with renewed motivation & drive I'm gonna quit the calorie overload (probably after this weekend as I have a night out planned 👌) Gonna spend "bulking season" shredding like I did in summer & find all my newly built muscle hiding under this little layer of fluff I've put on 💪

•Good morning💛 my lectures for a personal trainer and a nutrition consultant are finally over!🙌😃 To be honest, the past 6 weeks went by really really fast and the exam is just around the corner 😅. As much as I’m scared I’m also soo excited for a new chapter in my life! I can’t wait to start this journey because I really enjoy helping everyone when they have fitness or nutrition questions, I like seeing them reach their goals and feel proud of their hard work because of what they’ve learned and applied. Had a not so good day today so I went and released all that anger into my workout this afternoon. Trained booty, quads and hammies, then ended it off with some hard af bike work!
All my built up anger and stress needed to be loaded off, so a workout it was. Don't think I'll be able to move tomorrow, but have placement day 2 and think this may have been a mistake 🤔 stairs and walking all day tomorrow 😣 but no regrets cause the anger and stress was released
Exercise to me most the time is for the anger/stress release, not for the authenticity or gains, they're just an added bonus. Pretty nice bonuses actually, but you get my point. I reckon training to keep your sanity in check is better than building a booty, cause you can't build da booty without a good mind frame 💁 you also can't function properly without a good mind frame
Making sure I've always got the focus and effort to put in, into any of my day to day routines, is essential to me. Exercise and lifting heavy shit helps me release negativity and embrace some much needed positivity
This afternoon I was such a downer and was picking on myself to the point where I wanted to quit uni 😔 so I got my fav booty shorts and connies on, and went and let it all out. Safe to say I've definitely reevaluated today and have thought of a better game plan than quitting uni 😂 like hello Lanely, don't be so stupid!
So guys, go let out all that frustration in your favourite way possible and embrace all those much needed endorphins and positive vibes ✌ then come back and look at the situation with a better mind set than the one you had before. Sometimes we get so much worked up within ourselves everything seems useless and we blame ourselves. Let's give ourselves a break and be kind to ourselves! Give yourself some credit for getting this far!

Like it’s physically impossible for 4 people to use ALL (and I mean ALL) of the dumbbells at once! Please re rack what you’re not using 🤦🏽♀️
Also - I understand you like to workout with a friend but please take it in turns while one of you is resting! Not stand around talking and then when one person has finished all their sets switch places! 🤦🏽♀️ Oh and my favourite... do you really need to complete 7 sets of the same exercise? 🤷🏽♀️ and I sat and counted while I waited - this guy did 7 sets!! 🙄
