Car accident has me using lighter than normal weights this week. But I'm getting into it anyway because I'm not one to sit in the bed all day.
Don't be SCARED to train muscles that you think are going to be make you look too "manly". Train your shoulders, your back, your chest, your arms etc for strength not for mass it's a difference.

I've been in the kitchen food prepping, but it may not be as point friendly as I would hope. Anyway, I made chili, boiled eggs, and some ground turkey for another meal. I plan on making some pasta salad if need be. We are getting some extreme weather here in the South, so I am preparing food in case the power goes out as expected. I sure hope electricity doesn't blow, but I should have enough stocked up. The storm may not seem like a huge deal to those used to snow and all that comes with it, but we aren't used to this type of weather.
In any capacity, I'm attempting to stay warm and keep moving. This girl still has goals. 😏😉🙆🙌 #dinner

Results like this just blows my mind 🤯🤯🤯 I have no doubts that the programs that I use in my challenge group works but I can’t hide my emotions everytime I see results like this 😍🤗 Its just amazing how the body can undergo such an amazing transformation in a short period of time!

Chicken chili tonight! This recipe is from Epicurious. I followed it exception of using red onions. Overall 👍 though next time I will add diced bell peppers to get some more veggies (any other suggestions?). While I am not terribly worried over splitting 1/2c of heavy cream over 4 servings, I may look into seeing if I can sub that for yogurt or something else. Oh that is a dollop of yogurt on top, too. Leftovers for lunch on Friday. 🍴 .

I’m 5’2” .... I weigh 130lbs... I’ve always seen myself as this short person who you could see weight on so easily. The #tiunutritionplan Taught me how to take care of my body and to focus on health not skinny... instead I now focus on strength, toning and form. I decided to combine some of my favorite pictures and post why I #lovemybody for our #tiuloveyourbody challenge.
I hope this brings inspiration to you. - my thighs - are strong and getting stronger with every squat. -my legs & feet- have carried my body 13.3 miles in 2 hours. -My arms- have held my body at its weakest and continue showing me balance. -my core- 😖 through IBS issues, curved spine and bloating for days, you’ve been revealed through healthy habits, lean clean and green eating. -MY MUSCLES- I’ve mistaken life in regards to morals and values on “skinny” vs. muscular. My body is muscular, toned and all it was made to be. I’ve accepted that and am PROUD to be.
I’m grateful for all parts of my body even when I’m relentless and my worst critique. I am loving, and caring to my own body and choose to grow more loving through these next 4 weeks.

When you need "ants" 🐜 on your "log" but your kids hate raisins! I know, good trade-off right?! 😜 Love that @unreal.snacks is giving us "cleaner" versions of our favorite candies 🍭including replacing artificial food coloring with natural vegetable coloring. 🥕🙌🏻 I'm not super fanatical about my kids avoiding food coloring all the time (because let's face it - school, birthday parties, etc.) but we do stay away from them whenever possible. A 2004 analysis including 15 studies did indeed show a link between food dyes and increased hyperactivity in children. 😢 It appears that some children are more affected than others which may be due to a genetic predisposition. 😲 Artificial dyes have also been linked to allergic reactions in some people. 🤧One of my kids breaks out in a rash on his face when he has red dye and they both clearly have a harder time with self-control, so I can definitely attest to this! 😳#afterschoolsnack#allnatural#unrealcandy#adhd#foodallergies#cleaneating#naturalfoodcoloring#reddye40#artificialfoodcoloring
