After his dominant win at UFC Fight Night: Swanson vs. Ortega last week in Fresno, Eryk Anders called our former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and future Hall of Famer, Lyoto Machida. It has been announced that he’s gotten his wish as Ya Boi will take on The Dragon at UFC Fight Night 125 on February 3 in Belém, Brazil in the main event.
Machida last fought in October at UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs. Machida when he took on top ranked middleweight, Derek Brunson. He lost the fight in the first round after being knocked out by Brunson. He looks to get back on track against Anders.
The former Alabama linebacker and college football national champion, Eryk Anders, added to his perfect record of 10-0 after a dominant outing against Markus Perez at UFC Fight Night: Swanson vs. Ortega last week in Fresno. He won the by a unanimous decision, winning every round on two of the three judges scorecards. He looks to improve to 11-0 against Machida.
