Walking outside and breathing fresh air is a Postpartum necessity. Spending time outdoors with nature, even for just a little bit, is incredibly therapeutic. It's been proven to boost energy levels, clear and focus your mind and increase your vitamin D levels which contributes to a stronger immune system. Being outdoors also helps increase your quality of sleep; "studies show that natural sunlight assists in regulating the body's internal clock that tells us when to eat and sleep, and normalizes hormonal functions that occur at specific times of the day." - Jennifer Walters
So many reasons to look forward to our Parent & Tot Stroller Walking group this morning! It's incredibly refreshing connecting with mamas in an outdoor setting! Happy Tuesday loves!
