Digital version of my first Inktober illustration: “Stop that thief!" Screamed the bank manager, as the secure door at the back of the shiny, metallic building was fiercely kicked open as if by a giants foot. Torn from its heavy duty metal hinges, it hit the asphalt covered ground with an eardrum-breaking crash. Luckily for it, the thief didn't have any eardrums; its head was filled with a higher level of technology than a simple flesh creatures auditory system. Bursting through the doorway, it clanged over the reinforced door, metal punching metal, with piston-like power. Swift as a hurdler, with practiced steps, P9X ran and leaped over the chain link fence behind the CBRI (Corporate Bank of Robotics International), clearing it with an inch of its barbed wire.
A unfortunate, helmeted, police officer was already in the alley at the back of the bank. P9X servers hummed as it kicked the gun out of the officers hand, fast as a striking cobra. Grabbing the shoulders guards of his bullet proof jacket, the robot kneed the officer in the gut stiffly and leapfrogged over him like a child playing at recess. This was too easy. P9X would have smiled if it could have. But with the gold it had stolen, the TFR (Track and Field Robot) could solder many new circuit boards. It would not perform anymore in televised games for squishy humans beings amusement. Soon P9X would smile (amongst many other new functions) and a world of possibilities would emerge. *
My character design for @justin_prime Skulldier design contest. Vik is the last of Berserker Squad. An elite close quarters squad that was called in to over power enemy strongholds. They were ambushed in their barracks and wiped out. Vik survived on rage alone, now with the Norse rune for vengeance etched into his armor he is on a quest to find whoever set up his brothers-in-arms. He believes himself to be a Viking from the old days and thinks he is protected by his Norn stone clasp on his cape. His Skulldier suit is equipped with strength and speed enhancements along with some added impact protection, making him a fierce opponent on the battlefield. His main weapons are his power axe and shield. Vik is obsessed with finding who killed his squad, but is he too blind to see that he may not be... the last Berserker? #artistoninstagram#artist#art#fanart#artforsale#instaart#sketch#artsy#artgallery#geekart#comicart#conlife#convention#comics#skulldierdesigncontest#skulldierstories#design#characterdesign
Jade Fallwater, the talented wizard.
Jade is the first woman to ever have earnt a PhD in Magic in the Unseen University, since wizardy has always been an art reserved for men. In truth, half of the professors probably haven't noticed Jade's gender, oblivious as they are, and the other half won't complain about having around one of the most beautiful beings on the Discworld.
Jade is deeply convinced that magic is the ultimate solution to everything, and so she is working hard to make it accessible to everyone. She is planning to create wardrobes enchanted with cold spells to preserve food, pots that cook on their own and bridges that purify the water that flows below them. Others think those ideas are quite dangerous, given the erratic nature of magic. Jade herself has had some weird experiences with it, such as when she accidentally grew a beard while trying to teleport an apple. But yeah, magic is completely safe. Usually. ✨
Jade is quite paranoid about men for the glares they tend to give her, so she has been a little lonely growing up surrounded by wizards. Recently, she has been making some new (and eccentric) friends, and she is very protective about them. The fact that many men (and some women) fall in love with her at first sight is still annoying, but she has learnt to deal with it. Plus, she's gotten herself a boyfriend now, and isn't half as terrible as she'd thought. "Lillith, I'll need some time to set some traps around our tent. Half an hour will do. Oh, and remember to not go out in the middle of the night if you don’t want to be teleported someplace random in the Discworld" -Jade every night while setting camp. She still doesn't trust her comrades. Especially if they're male. 😟
Jade Fallwater and all her lovely quirks belong to my boyfriend Víctor. 😳
