✨Friday Feature✨ Meet Jason & Shanda, a couple with the cutest kids, amazing work ethic, & hearts to follow Jesus.
Q: How long hitched?
A: 9 years this April!
Q: What's the hardest thing you've been through in marriage thus far?
A: Learning how to put the other person's needs above yourself.
Q: What's the most miraculous thing God's done in your lives thus far?
A: When God blessed us with children.
Q: If you could give your younger selves any advice about life or marriage, what would it be?
A: The devil will try every day to tear your marriage apart. Keep God at the center of your marriage and seek to be a godly person. Also, temptation is real; when you feel it, RUN from it.
This morning while getting ready for work, I accidentally dropped one of the rings my mother had made for us when I was 10. It landed with a ting in the bathroom sink, immediately going down the drain, ignoring my desperate clawing to catch it. As I slide to the floor, tears streaming down my face and panic setting in, hoping that no one will use the sink while I'm gone, praying that I can save it, Mik comes around the corner and spots me on the floor. After I tearfully explained what happened, he immediately gets to work. He pulled apart the entire bathroom, wrenching the drain apart from beneath the sink, and hunts down the tiny little ring. Within ten minutes, he's got it in his hands and is wiping the tears from my cheeks, and he still got me to work on time. This is the kind of love I want forever. ❤️#couplesofinstagram#instacouple#couplesofig#goals#relationshipgoals#aboveandbeyond#itsthelittlethings#sappy#sappypost#whatloveis#amore#panic#iloveyou#gold#lifesaver#boyfriendappreciationpost

As the tips of my fingers delicately caress the palms of your hands & I imitate the sloping curves of a heart, we need not utter a single word or exchange a series of glances; interaction through touch is enough to verify the affection, the attraction & attention we have for one another.
I am anchored in a love affair with only you.
All we need is each others touch to exemplify how we feel, for nothing speaks louder than the physical expression of us. Nothing.

Life long commitment is absolutely not what everybody thinks.
It’s not starting everyday with breakfast in bed, it’s not cuddling and spooning until we fall asleep peacefully every night.
It’s not a clean house and a home made meal everyday.
But rather it’s someone who steal the blankets or someone who snores loud every night.
Sometimes it’s made out of slammed doors and hard words, it’s disagreeing, arguing, followed by long silence until our hearts heal and forgiveness kicks in.
It’s coming home everyday to the same person you know, you love, the person who cares for you because of who you are and despite of who you are.
It’s laughing together at something goofy you did together. It’s dirty clothes, it’s shoes laying in the middle of the door way, it’s undone bed without pointing fingers. It’s to help each other in the very hard times Life might bring. It’s to hold in the hurtful words rather than saying them out loud. It’s to eat a quick snack at 10pm because you had a crazy day rather than having a regular dinner. It’s when you are overwhelmed and the emotions take over, but your love one is here, by your side, telling you everything is going to be ok and you believe in those words. It’s to always love, even if the person drives you completely nuts, it’s to love fit or fat, happy or not, it’s to love young or old, sick or healthy, poor or wealthy.
Love is not perfect, it’s sometimes rather hard, but Love is incredible, Love is soothing, and Love is the most amazing thing a human being can live.
Go ahead post pictures of the one you love and show them how much you love them... no matter what ❤️❤️ (courtesy of @chris_joly_fitness)
Big thank you to @justininfernalcircle 🖤 I’ve made a lot of progress in my yoga practice recently and he’s definitely a big part of the reason why! He’s created a gym/workout regimen directed towards bettering my yoga practice and has been letting me be his first gym buddy so he can help me if needed while there! Not to mention, he’s my biggest support and helps coach me mentally, always letting me know I can push myself harder or telling me I did a good job. Very thankful to have him throughout this process and even more thankful to have him by my side for the rest of my days 🖤
