I dislike the comments in the lines of "we already know you are better than everyone else" or "you don't have to prove you are better than anyone else". Uhm WTF...I'm not. I'm not a star athlete or the fittest! I just try to be better than I was yesterday. It includes doing extra work to work on my fitness, endurance, and strength. If only I had more time to put in to do so much more. My first crossfit competition. I liked the sound of it when I was doing crossfit full-time 😂
Since I've been working from a strength and Olympic lifting programme I've done significantly less conditioning. I would much have preferred to compete next year, but it's here now and we don't make excuses!
I'm looking forward to seeing how much I can push myself in a competitive environment despite not feeling confident in my ability.
I'm gonna have to push myself beyond what I've felt in recent months and give 💯

July 2016 vs Nov 2017. The process is slow...I’m human. I fall off, I drink and I love tacos. However I never give up no matter how hard I can be on myself. You see the scale doesn’t move and my mind starts getting the best of me but then I see stuff like this and makes me realize that it’s a process. Rome wasn’t built over night. I’ve learned to love myself and accept my flaws while also making myself a better person. I couldn’t have done this without my box @stayreadycrossfit.
