2 weeks in, I cancelled my gym membership and went to work every day in my back yard
4 weeks in I wanted to quit because I felt I was working harder than the results I was seeing
7 weeks in I was good but felt I was getting delirious training by myself every day in my back yard (Some of you probably saw that on my Instagram stories😃) 9 weeks in I was having fun and loving the results
11 weeks in, I was "In the zone" and cranking on all cylinders
12 weeks in I thought I could actually place as an IsaBody finalist 💪🏼 12 weeks and one day in I contracted Bacterial Pneumonia 😩 So 1 week in bed, 2 weeks no exercise (1/2 of my lung capacity) Doctor's orders
14 weeks in we left on a 15 day Holiday road trip to Florida, then California. I brought 2 dumbbells, a yoga matt and exercise bands.
14 weeks and 2 days in, my "good" shoulder goes terribly bad with impingement syndrome and I'm deflated and ready to quit....again
15 weeks in I recalled what my friend Lori Harder told me 16 weeks earlier, "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are at". At that point I knew I had to finish strong.
16 weeks in I realized, THIS ISN'T ABOUT A CONTEST, THIS IS ABOUT GOOD NUTRITION TRUMPING ALL ELSE. THIS IS ABOUT LIFESTYLE
The most important thing I learned along this Journey of CHALLENGES?
There is no FINISH LINE, no "THERE", no stopping, no resting on laurels or past victories... only a new goal and most the important lesson of all:
FINISH WHAT YOU START! 👊

There are a lot of people reaching for something better. The resolution passion can fades but for some it’s the wind that gets taken from their sails. Negativity(noise) from the outside will plant itself in your place of sanctuary, your mind. Chop that effin tree that negativity tree down. And leave that tree lay where it fell. I’ve shared this before, yet i wanted to share it again to really show what Crossfit can do with along with dedication. On the left I was at my heaviest ever in life a whopping 260lbs. On the right i was standing 210lbs. Today I’m at 228lbs and I’m on my second day of the @losamigoscrossfit 30 day weight loss challenge and I couldn’t be more excited to see how far they take me!
My weight has gone up and down based on what I’ve been shooting for. Towards the end of the year I was really focused on hitting huge numbers on my deadlift and back squat I really didn’t worry about cardio and at lots of things to bulk up. I hit my goals yet now I’m going back to being more well rounded.
As my head coach @strongman_beards would say. I’m shooting to have a 500lb deadlift and a 6 minute mile.
With all this said, I can honestly say I’m in no better place to accomplish these goals than to be at @losamigoscrossfit.
My coaches Sandy and Carlos know my goals and know how to get me there. I trust them 100000000% with everything from my diet to my programming.
If you ever thought about trying Crossfit or wondered what can Crossfit do for you. Simply look at this photo and realize it can do wonders. It changed my life and @losamigoscrossfit can change yours to. Believe me im now Superman, just a regular guy with some goals and an unwillingness to give up.

I normally don’t post stuff like this but 6 weeks ago I started #FitBodyBootCamp here in Las Vegas (Left - 12/4/17 Right - Today) 18 gym days were required with the class plus the meal plan and I feel better than ever especially with eating right. I dropped 10 lbs, 3 inches off my waist, an inch off my hips and dropped 5% body fat. To keep my progress going and reach my goal I’m going to continue you these classes and more frequently than required... Always remember health equals wealth do take care of you!!! I'm telling you guys, 2018 is going to be my year, a year where I start pushing towards all those goals and dreams that I have, started with an insane workout at 1am 😂 starting off with squats (I rarely train legs, starting to now) did 3x10 20kg, then deadlifts 3x10 20kg just cause I thought why not when the weights already loaded and then I did 7.5kg dumbbell curls, 100 reps with no rest in between and then straight after, again no reps I used the dumbbell to train triceps with another 100 reps and no rest break, my arms feel like they're going to drop off 😂 can only get better from here 👌🏻 #trainingstrongman#strongman#training#gym#gymmotivation#roadtotransformation#2018#2018ismyyear#watchthisspace#dedication#motivation

Do you believe? Yes, you do believe; we all believe. But the questions is not whether you believe or not. It’s s how you believe that matters. Belief is such a powerful word. Belief has achieved the greatest goals known to man. If Steve Jobs did not believe that his products could change the world then I wouldn’t be typing this post on my IPhone 😊📱. If NASA did not believe that we could get a man in the cosmos then we would of never landed on the moon🌗. If Martin Luther King Jr never believed that one day people of color would attend the same school then the U.S.A would not be the place that it is today👨🏻🏫👩🏽🏫👩🏻🏫👨🏿🏫. When one believes in there dreams or goals your mind starts to do something amazing. Your mind starts to think of ways to make those dreams come true, your mind starts working 1000mph to figure out how it’s going to achieve your goals. Your mind starts to be creative. How beautiful is that. Spending your life’s energy on achieving your dreams, doing what deep down in your heart you always wanted. But belief can also be destructive. When you start believing that you can’t achieve your dreams or that it’s too late or that life is just not on your side, your mind starts processing as manny excuses why you can’t achieve your dreams. That negative energy can drain you bone dry. So, What I want you to do is, believe that you can make your dreams come true. Believe that you are smart enough to make it big. Believe that nothing in the world will stop you from making your mark on the world 🌎.
