Everybody has someone they chase. Most people chase guys like Arnold or Kai Greene. I chase my boy Jordan. I strive to match his physique and out lift him. I’m sure he has someone he chases, and whoever that is chases someone and the list goes on and on.
Never be satisfied.
This is by far one of the most motivating and inspiring efforts and battles I’ve ever seen on any level or in any sport in my entire fucking life!!! And what makes this moment even more special, besides being there in person, is knowing the man himself, Bruce, aka @mr_orlando and his back story. One of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet, Coming back from countless injuries and major back issues, he’s wanted a 700 pull more than you could imagine, well until you watch this video that is!!! 😳 Even the judges were in disbelief when his coach, @chrisgordert , said he’s gonna go for 705, after hitting 644 on his 2nd. He said simply, he’s gonna get it, watch. Then we all got to witness the fucking grind of the century!!!!!! 😳😳😳 I was sooooooo upset that the lift didn’t count due to the judge giving an early down call!!! BUT, as pissed as I was and as bad as I felt for Bruce, I realize that the judge actually meant well and it was an honest mistake. Plus, it doesn’t matter because Bruce not only got that shit but he left every fucking ounce of his being out on that platform and showed out like the True Fucking warrior that he is!!!! That in itself, lift or no lift, is what champions are made of and what inspires people to greatness!!! 🙌🏽 I couldn’t be more proud to call this dude my friend and I will never forget this moment for the rest of my life!!! 🥑GREEN MORNING PROTEIN SMOOTHIE🥑
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1 cup (250 ml) unsweetened almond milk
1 ripe banana, frozen
1/2 cup (125 ml) chopped mango, frozen
1-2 large handfuls of baby spinach
1/4 cup (60 ml) pumpkin seeds (Pepita seeds)
2 tbsp (30 ml) hemp hearts (hulled hemp seeds)
optional: 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder + 1/4 cup water
Almond milk: Unfortified almond milk is a good source of vitamin E & calcium, many varieties are often fortified with vitamins A, D, & B12, riboflavin, & zinc.
Banana: A great source of vitamin B6, bananas also contain moderate amounts of potassium, vitamin C, and manganese.
Mango: High in vitamin C & A and contains moderate amounts of vitamins E, K, B6 & B9 in addition to potassium and copper.
Baby spinach: Loaded with vitamin K (1 cup provides over 180% of your recommended daily intake) as well as vitamins A & C.
Pumpkin seeds: Pumpkin seeds are a good source of protein, iron, zinc, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, and potassium.
Hemp hearts: Packed with high quality protein and a great source of essential fatty acids
It's crazy how the people who make fun of you and try to make you believe that your goals aren't realistic are the very ones who come back later on and ask for help when they see your success.

“I cannot be bothered going to the gym.” Do you ever feel like this? Believe it or not I feel this way quite a lot. If I was to listen to this negativity in my mind then I would definitely not be in the shape I am now. Turn that negative statement into a positive one and just get in and get it done. Un jour tu te dis que le sport seul ne pourrait te permettre de réussir, que c'est un tout, avec une bonne hygiène de vie.
Tu apprends, des athletes et autres sportifs, parce qu'il y'a beaucoup de chose à comprendre et qu'ils pourrait indirectement te donner un coup pouce.
Ils t'apportent la motivation supplémentaire que tu pensais ne pas avoir pour avancer. .
Tu te fixes quelques objectifs, petits d'abord, puis de plus en plus costauds.
Finalement tu te rends compte que ce n'est pas impossible... difficile certes, mais pas impossible. .
