Oven baked chicken legs with Asian broccoli slaw and guacamole to dip the chicken in. 👌 So much food! It’s amusing to me how I used to think this amount of food was such a small amount. I couldn’t understand how people could be full after eating such a “little” amount. At every meal, I would always go back for seconds and take the same amount or more. I would just eat and eat and eat. I would feel guilty throwing food away, so at times, I would eat even if I wasn’t hungry or didn’t want the food. I couldn’t help myself. If something tasted delicious (like cheesecake), I would eat until I felt sick. I knew I should stop but I kept going. “Just one more bite”, I’d tell myself, over and over again. I am now surprising myself with how I’m able to stop eating when I want to. I am now able to throw food out because I’d rather do that than consume extra calories and carbs. I’m proud of myself and the obstacles I have overcome.
Special shout out to my girl @kirsty.flo on placing 1st in the womens junior 57kg weight class this past weekend at @usapowerlifting #rawnationals2017 . She went 8/9 on her lifts which was good for a 436 wilks and more importantly hitting PRs on all her lifts. I'm so proud of you baby! I know the amount of work you put in to reach this level of success. You inspire me every day! I couldnt ask for a better training partner! I Love you girl 😘😘! . -P.S.Now you can finally eat a chipotle bowl with rice and a tortilla on the side! 😂😂
Day 66, and I am hanging with this little monkey. Since I was sooo smart last night and had a weighted squat competition with my oldest, today my muscles hate me so I declared a much needed yoga day. This little guy wanted to help so we stretched and and stretched and stretched some more....he is much more flexible than me lol....but finally feel like i can move without pain. And I spent some quality time with my Jax. Hopefully after a soak tonight I will be full force for tomorrow💪🔥💪🔥
I'm so thankful that I'm feeling a little better every day. It feels really good to cook dinner for my family again. Burgers with lettuce, pickles, mini sweet peppers, onions, gaucamole and mustard with a side of potatoes.
