Find what you love and make it kill you! Building an empire is fun! Especially when you lay the bricks that are thrown at you. We’ve failed, over and over. Learning how to run a business, learning exercise from the basics to the science geeky shit no one but trainers give a crap about. What matters the most you can’t learn in a book, you won’t learn from just merely owning a business, you learn that shit from experience. Ups and downs, trials and fails. Be humble, open minded. We don’t have to say we are successful, look at what we have done since 2010. Changing lives is what we do, it’s what we are good at. We practice our craft daily, we sharpen our axe daily, and we don’t practice mediocrity! Never settle, always strive for more, be relentless, and it will pay off 😉 -

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY. I love Instagram as it's a visual diary- everyone can partake in! It's a positive medium and you can take from it what you will, but some people choose to bag it out- those same people are quite negative in general and will jump into reading other peoples' work and not like it but just creep on it. I love seeing everyone's musings and pictures! The reason why I share my 'selfies' and progress on Instagram is for two reasons. Firstly- it's to provide visuals for all of the different thoughts that I might have related to fitness or life in general- I try to make it relevant and do each one on the day- keeping it real. It's to show you, the reader, viewer, browser, that things can happen to your body, your mind, your outlook if you adopt and embrace the process. You let some things go, to acquire others. At any point, any time, any day, YOU can decide to take steps to change your current situation. Try to also work on your mind and allow it to catch up with your new body- I still, being honest, get a shock when I see my body as my mind hasn't caught up- that's not a good thing! Over the last ten years it's had two babies, done an ironman and countless other Tri comps, it's lifted lots of weight and trained nearly every day for six years straight! I'm working on that! These days I will not get upset or worried at the people who go out of their way to be negative toward me as I know that I am surrounded by love and I give love ❤️ Secondly, I share to reach out to anyone who wants to change. It takes discipline and also blinkers- you need to eliminate the haters. Top tips are- if someone feels the need to be negative, don't respond. If you do, keep it short and sweet. I've had someone message me an entire essay about why I'm not right for a certain thing, without even knowing a thing about me! That says more about them than me. Stay happy and be kind. ❤️🌟 it's good for your cortisol levels 😉 #Fitspo#Fitfam#GirlsWhoLift#GymLife#Legday#NoPainNoGain#FitLife#GetStrong#Workout#MondayMiles#ChestDay#SeenOnMyRun#TrainHard#Gains#Strengthtraining#Physiquefreak#Fitness#Fitmum#activewear#transformation#postivevibes
Cardio all year round? Here's why:
Supplements used for fasted cardio:
NPL Lcarnitine 15mins pre
10g NPL Glutamine 10g NPL BCAA post
Although I'm not one who enjoys excessive amounts of cardio, I do believe it has many benefits not only in season but offseason too. Here are 3 reasons why I feel many people would benefit from year round cardio... Aerobic Fitness
To build muscle you need to push your physical boundaries in the gym, this requires aerobic fitness. Once you've gone beyond 6-8 reps there is a huge emphasis on the aerobic system to remove lactic acid to prevent fatigue, regenerate ATP and ultimately keep you going during the set.
The importance of making LEAN GAINS, versus gaining weight at all costs. Quality muscle mass is always more important. Doing some form of low impact cardio even during a lean mass plan can have benefits, particularly where insulin sensitivity and fat mobilisation is concerned. Yes, this will also depend upon your diet and the way you cycle nutrients.
General health and well-being is always going to be better when you do cardio. That's cardiac health, digestion, muscle recovery and even stress. In my experience, doing some low impact cardio on a regular basis helps provide a better foundation for positive changes within a physique. I'm VERY much a proponent of focusing on the overall quality of life within bodybuilding, it's important to have a broad overview of a person's life rather than just being fixated on the way a physique looks. Health and well-being are also crucial! - Neil Hill
