Got C R A F T Y last night!
I am OBSESSED with fixer upper lately and I’m trying to give our little cozy apartment some farmhouse/rustic style!
>> This cost me $0 !!!
+ The bottle was the champagne Brian and I popped the night we got engaged! (Now it will be displayed in our home forever)
+ The little white birch jar was a bath and bod works candle I cleaned out and tied twine around
+ The green vase was something I got a while ago at the Christmas Tree Shoppe (took off the metal ring around it and added twine)
+ The mason jar is an old sauce jar (Sorry grandma, I’m going to have to keep this jar haha) and we now use it for our smoothie straws so I added a little rustic flare to it!
I have a decent sized amazon order of all farmhouse style decor coming over the next 2 days and I can’t wait to add it to our home with all of the Christmas decorations that will be coming out shortly!!!

QOTD :: “You get stronger everyday” but really my girls DO push me to be better EVERY SINGLE DAY! - even on the weekends. Big shout out to @devmoneyy this morning! Not only did we do one workout together, we did TWO ✌🏻even when our meeting kicked us off we picked up FaceTime and kept going. Good thing, because I can’t 100% say I would have kept going if she wasn’t doing it with me! I don’t know about her but I definitely pushed myself harder today than I would have if I didn’t have her accountability! Love our #GirlGang and the support we give! 👯💕🙌🏻

I've made the decision to NOT give into feeling like crap on the holidays.
Did you know the average person gains 7-10lbs during this season? No wonder why gym memberships sky rocket in January.
Every meal is not perfect, every workout is not perfect, everyday is not perfect...but the decision to try is always there.
After all, choice is the most powerful thing we own.
So, my choice tonight was to workout. 30minutes of core cardio. Combo of HIIT and core movements. And, of course, I had a partner.
Thankful for my workout buddies who keep me going everyday. I'll be ready for 2018 strong. Wanna join me?
Holy freaking workout!!! AAA (Arms, Abs, and Ass) whooped me today!! My hamstrings are jello and already sore from my Booty workout a couple days ago, so a little extra stretch is much needed today!
Today during the workout, Autumn said something that hit home a little bit. She said, "where there is struggle, there is strength." This is obviously true in so many areas of our life, but when it comes to getting fit and healthy, good grief it is so true!! We are not all those people who are excited to eat healthy and workout, believe it or not haha!! We STRUGGLE, we yo-yo, we give up, we try the fads that don't work... it's all a vicious cycle!! At some point, you have to find strength in the struggle, whether that is getting your nutrition under control or pushing through those hard workouts, and make up our mind to make a lifestyle change that is going to exponentially make your life better!
If it were not for Beachbody and having a group of women who push and encourage me, I would probably still be sitting around, feeling bad about myself and neglecting my body! Beachbody changed me for the better and I am incredibly proud to be paying that forward as a coach! Don't try to do it all alone, reach out and let's do it together!!

Best part about my workout tonight? Not that it was 30 minutes. Or that it used bands and sliders. Or that it was nice and slow and really worked my muscles. Or that it was called AAA (abs, arms, and...)

My favorite part is that I did it in my favortie pajama pants. Just one of the many perks of working out at home! 🤣👊🏻💪🏻

Today we talked about where we would have been if we DIDN’T say yes for this opportunity. For one, I wouldn’t have had Keith push me out of bed at 4 am to get day four with my girls done while still sick. 😴 BUT- I would also be insecure, spending my time making OTHER people happy and living a life where I cared more about what other people thought than what was healthy and what I wanted. ✋🏻Learning a lot about how it’s okay being a little uncomfortable. And apparently sick 🙄 because I just don’t seem to be getting any better.
This mornings mess is brought to by THE BEST WORKOUT since I’ve been sick. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 still not feeling 100% but I am up and back to work and back to my normal routine!! Day THREE of our accountability group and I am SO inspired! Had a girl really STEP OUT OF HER COMFORT ZONE this morning and I couldn’t have been more proud of her! 💕THIS is why I am a coach. THIS is what gets me going every morning. LOVE OUR #GirlGang ! 👯👯 #ProudCoachMoment

Today I watched the Fixer Upper episode with Clint and Kelly Harp’s home. I had never seen that episode before, so it was amazing to see the “before” after already having seen the “after”. Catherine was watching some of it with me and commented what a terrible house it was they were touring. I couldn’t wait to show her that she had actually seen that house in person! So I pulled out these photos and asked her if she remembered being there and then eagerly made sure she watched the big reveal of the terrible house to realize it was the house she had seen in Texas just a few months ago!

Life gets busy and chaotic, trust me I know!😆Between working full time, sports for my kids, my busy football coach husband, church callings, wife duties and mama duties...my plate was full and I thought something had to give!
Man was I wrong!! I just had to make more time for self-care!! Not in a selfish way, but in a heathy way!🥑🏃🏽♀️
I started taking control of my life instead of it controlling me! I started my morning before the littles woke up! I took care of my physical body with fitness! 💪🏼I took care of my nutrition with this amazing chocolate shake full of superfoods!! 🍫I began reading personal development books to strengthen my mind so I could be more positive person💃
After hitting my goal weight & losing over 30 pounds, I took a step back and slipped into my old eating habits!! 🤦🏼♀️But you know what…I’m kind of grateful, cuz it had me feeling the way I did back in February before I started this journey!
I started feeling tired, irritated, having digestive issues, stomach cramping, headaches, bloated, cranky and sluggish during my workouts!! 👎🏻I knew it was due to my bad eating habits!
So here Iam in February when I started my journey, a picture of me today and a spot for my picture in January 2018!! Friends👯 I still need accountability to keep reaching goals and one of them is to stay on track with my nutrition during the holidays and maybe even tone up!!👊🏻
Don’t get me wrong, Im gonna enjoy my sister in-laws amazing sweet potato casserole for Thanksgiving! But im gonna use the days in between to follow my meal plan and stick to my workout routine! Then come Christmas I️ can have garlic mashed potatoes and ham!🥔Friends, I’m not saying don’t enjoy your holiday traditions, but let’s hold each other accountable!!
