🍓Strawberry Cheesecake Protein Smoothie
1/2 cup Almond milk
1 cup crushed ice
2 Tbs whipped Greek Yogurt Cream Cheese
1 tsp Truvia nectar
1 scoop 1st Phorm Level 1 Strawberry Milkshake flavor
1 crushed graham cracker to top with
Blend everything but the graham cracker crumbs. This was a single serving so I used a Magic Bullet to blend.
Once blended, pour in glass and top with crushed graham cracker.
By using Level 1, this was a perfect meal replacement this afternoon before I headed out to run errands. Level 1 is a slow digesting protein, keeping me fuller longer the same way whole foods do, but perfect for on the go situations when a whole meal just doesn’t make sense. Basically, Level 1 is a busy mama’s best friend.

This past month has been a process of figuring out what my next goal is - I've trained for sports, for races, for better form, for consistency, for strength, for yoga...to improve my life altogether. But I think I have been searching for a new goal just to be able to say "I've done that".
With some motivation, I've picked a date >>>June 16, 2018. Can't back out now! 🤦🏻♀️
I don't have to workout. I get to workout.
It's not a burden to exercise. It's a blessing.
Today I am blessed with ability.
The ability to do, to move, and to grow.
The ability to try new things.
To make mistakes.
To try again.
Time comes for all of us. 20 years from now, the ability I have today may be lessened.
Even whatever tomorrow holds could take away the abilities I have today.
I choose to not waste it. To not do myself an injustice by taking for granted my abilities. I choose to push myself today, because I'm blessed to be able to.
Use what you’ve got and start where you are. Someday it will be too late, but today is not that day.

Guess what time it is? Taking advantage of half natty lighting to take gratuitous selfies to boost self esteem time!!
Even with the half natty lighting I still find myself noticing my rolls and fluff and how tiny my guns are compared to all these jacked prime time 72s.
I have to remind myself that my journey is my own, and it starts with being a couch potato nerd who couldn't even complete a mile, being forced into high school sports only because my school made me, struggling to consistently exercise through college without that structure, and only in the past 5 years managing to find anything that motivates me to exercise consistently on my own and not eat like trash all the time.
I won't live life on a diet -- it drives me insane and isn't worth it to me. But I can live a life in which I build healthy habits that keep my body and mind in good shape.
And I can recognize how much farther I have to go and still be proud of how far I've come.
