My favorite thing I ate in Atlanta goes to this bad boy at @homegrownga. The "Comfy Chicken Biscuit" is some of the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had with perfectly fried white pieces of chicken in there. And I threw in two eggs over easy for good measure. IF YOU ARE EVER IN ATLANTA...STOP AT HOME GROWN.

This dish was the first post I ever did on Instagram a year and a half ago, and it's still one of my all time faves! Everything in this dish here was pretty standard but yummy (you can't really go wrong). The broth here became quite thick due to the cheese, which made it tastier in my opinion. My favorite pulled pork burgers. I haven't actually made these in quite a while so I'm keeping a lookout for some fresh jackfruit so I can make them again soon. (And yes, they "pork" is made of jackfruit) sharing the RECIPE BELOW 👇🏼

Homemade Barbecue Sauce
-1 cup tomato ketchup -1/2 cup water
-5 tbsp coco sugar -1 tbsp lemon juice
-1 tbsp liquid aminos/soy sauce
-1/2 cup cane vinegar
-1/2 tsp black pepper
-1/2 tsp onion powder
1. In a saucepan, add all ingredients, bring to a boil then simmer over low heat. Stir frequently for 20 minutes.
Barbecue Pulled "Pork"
-2 cups fresh young jackfruit (can opt to use canned)
-1-1 1/2cups water
-1 cup barbecue sauce (can opt to use store-bought sauce) -1 tsp paprika -1/2 tsp cayenne powder
-Salt and pepper, to taste -Burger buns or any bread of choice
-Fresh vegetables of choice
1. Over medium heat, add the jackfruit, water, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper then leave covered for 5-10 minutes.
2. Once the jackfruit has become tender, add 1/2 cup barbecue sauce. (Note: more water may need to be added depending on how tender jackfruit is)
3. After another 10 minutes, add the rest of the barbecue sauce. Mix well.
4. Shred the jackfruit using 2 forks. It should be tender enough to be shredded. If not, feel free to add more water and simmer for a few more minutes.
Note: Canned jackfruit may cook faster than fresh ones so you may need to adjust cooking time.

Diajarin ibuk saya, tp trus dimodif, apa2 dicemplungin, biar banyak sayurnya. Akhirnya beli sepaket bahan Sayur Asem Jakarta tp dimasak ala Sayur Asem Jawa 😅✌🏻
Sayur Asem Jawa
1 buah jagung, potong 4-5 bagian
50 g melinjo
50 g daun melinjo muda
1 buah wortel, iris serong
4 untai kacang panjang, potong2
1/2 buah labu siam, iris-iris
100 g nangka muda, iris tipis
1000 ml air
5 btr bawang merah, iris tipis
4 siung bawang putih, iris tipis
1 buah asam Jawa, seduh dg sedikit air panas
1 ruas lengkuas, memarkan
2 lbr daun salam
2 sdt gula
2 sdt garam
•Rebus jagung, nangka muda, melinjo dan labu siam hingga lunak, setelah lunak baru tambahkan wortel, kacang panjang dan daun melinjo.
•Masukkan semua bumbu dan air seduhan asam, aduk rata, tes rasa.
•Masak hingga matang (wortel melunak).
•Angkat, siap disajikan 😋😋

▪️ Cupcake de churros: Ótimo pra quem é formiguinha que nem eu. 💁🏽 É bem doce pela mistura geral dos sabores. Então se você prefere sabores menos adocicados, passe longe. Rs
▪️ Alfajor: Muito bom! Não deixa a desejar a nenhum alfajor que já experimentei. O recheio de doce de leite é delicioso.

Breakfast: another smoothie bowl! Banana, blueberry, and cinnamon. Topped with almonds, blueberries, a lot of chia seeds, and granola
Lunch: Slice of bread with cottage cheese, smoked salmon and dill
Snack: started off healthy with an apple and 20 g of pb.... but then I ate three servings of my moms homemade baklava.... (not good)!
Dinner: Spaghetti with pieces of pork. One piece of smores chocolate (brand is Milka) it made my stomach hurt, was really unneeded
Snack: Greek gouty with blueberries and strawberries
As you guys can see today I fell a bit off the wagon but it's important to just keep going and try to do better the next day! Just don't give up👊
