My carry on was loaded with self development books and a few of these supplements with a shaker cup to tie me over while sitting in the airport. Because there was no way I was going to live without these even on vacation and especially when flying and being around airplane food. I drank this everyday sometimes twice a day because I craved them. I know who craves supplements? I do because it tastes delicious and I knew I was nourishing my body at the same time while I soaked up the vitamin D. Here is what happened I over indulged in gourmet Jamaican food every day more than once a day, had a little too much vino and drinks trust me on that one 😉 and I still felt amazing. It's a feeling hard to explain unless your experience it yourself but I was not bloated, not puffy, not ill and didn't gain a lb of fat. Not kidding you guys everyday I got up put on my swimsuit and thanked this supplement for keeping me looking great and feeling like my best self. Looking like a million bucks and feeling it. Hubby said I exuded confidence and health. I so often get questions about my skin and what I do to get it glowing like that... which is still strange to me as when it comes to skin problems I had my fair share from early childhood onwards.
My acne overshadowed my youth and twenties. No cream, no heavy medication ever helped long term. They just masked the symptoms (and caused other issues elsewhere). My psoriasis wasn’t identified as such for more than over a decade when it already handicapped me strongly in my wellbeing. Also here, conventional treatment caused me only additional pain.
The way how I deal with my skin now is by 📍eating nutrition dense, varied food that suits me
📍drinking good quality herbal tea and hydrate with lots of water
📍being extremely careful which creams I let onto my skin (same goes for facials)
📍and by FASTING regularly.
Intermittent fasting (preferably dinner cancelling - THE better ageing tool!) is incorporated into every week and extended fasts are a fix part of my year (twice). That’s it. ✨

ROASTED ASPARAGUS WITH GREEN ONION DRESSING
2 pounds fresh asparagus
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
Green Onion Dressing
8-10 (1 bundle) scallions, greens only
4 cloves garlic
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons raw honey
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cut off the edges of the asparagus, then place them on the baking sheet. Coat the asparagus with the olive oil, minced garlic, salt and pepper and cook for 30 minutes, until beginning to brown but still crunchy.
3. To make the green onion aioli, combine all of the ingredients except for the olive oil in a food processor and blend until smooth. While the food processor is running, slowly add the olive oil until a thick sauce is formed. Drizzle the dressing over the roasted asparagus and serve.

Personally I workout because it makes me feel strong & confident. I honestly feel like such a badass at the end of every workout, knowing my body is capable of doing what I once believed it couldn’t. Fitness is where I find my happy place.
