🍰 Our cake mixes call for 90g applesauce (one pouch) + 2 tablespoons water. #eggfree When you sub other fruit mashes that are thicker than applesauce, I recommend adding some extra water to make the same consistency as applesauce. Here, an extra tablespoon did the trick. And even though the tops didn't seem firm when I took them out of the oven, the toothpick was clean and that's the best judge. Overbaked protein cakes can get dry, so when in doubt, take it out!

Keeping up with my health even on vacation. When i made my lifestyle change i made sure that this will be something i can sustain for forever not just a diet that i will eventually get tired of. I still have my not so healthy meals like that vegan bacon burger 😍😍😍 and i still enjoy not so healthy dinners with my friends. It’s all about balance. Make sure you’re fueling your body and keeping yourself happy 😊

I worked out my shoulders 1st, & the stairs lasted 20 minutes, and was wayyyy harder than I thought it would be😅 Good reminder that I really need to work on endurance and incorporate some light cardio into my workouts. Look good feel good😋

There’s a lot of comfort in realising that when you stay true to yourself & follow what’s right for you, you’re untouchable 👌 not to say I’m quite there yet but..I think as every year ends I know myself more & I feel more at peace with being myself 😄 don’t follow the crowd & don’t let people tell you what to do. You know what’s best for you 👍 just because everyone else is doing something it doesn’t mean you have to..many people are living lives that they were taught they should live and they aren’t really content because it doesn’t suit their true self. Life’s too short for that IMO 🤷♀️

Story time because today it’s rainy🌧☔️and gross and getting out of the house was the LAST thing I wanted to do today. But I made STILL made it to the gym😝💪🏼
👉🏼Last week, I was in the car with my friend @sheaboland and a couple of girls that were friends with him. One of them said to Shea, “I know I need to workout more but I just don’t have the motivation”.
Right then and there- I turned around and blatantly told her, “You will NEVER have the motivation”.... She stared and me blankly (like I had just given her the worst news ever) and I went on to say, “Motivation will come and go. Nobody is always 💯motivated. However, if you slowly make working out a habit and find the connection that working out ACTUALLY makes you feel better, helps you de stress, you will start to enjoy it it more. Then, even on days when your NOT motivated, you will still make it to the gym because it’s become a part of your lifestyle and you know you’ll feel better after”.
Motivation is a LIE. If you make it a habit, and enjoy the process, you will succeed even on days when you don’t want to push through. Happy Saturday fam! Make motivation a habit in your life, and don’t think twice😝✌🏼

I didn’t grow up in a healthy, sporty household. I didn’t LOVE working out, I didn’t walk into the gym and feel 100% confident and know what I was doing. .
I came from struggle. From broken families. From drugs and alcohol. From abuse. I turned to partying and “adventure” to cope with my emotions. .
Something had to change. I craved something more in my life. I wanted to create new healthy habits. I knew I wasn’t happy and I could continue a downward slope or I could take a different path. .
I remember stepping foot in the gym for the first time, broken and oblivious. I was hungry for change. I researched everything I could to gain confidence in the gym. I trained hard and watched my body and mind evolve.
Fast forward 10 years later. I’m now the girl I strived to be and I want to help you. I want to share my love for fulfillment, self growth, and confidence in the gym. I want to talk goals and help you conquer them. I want you to love yourself so much that you glow.
