Be happy.. not because everything is good, but because you can see the good in everything. ☺️
When I look back and see how far I've come... WOW. What a year! So many changes, so many sacrifices, all for one achieved goal. There's no better reward 💙 -
I want to help YOU reach that goal of becoming the best version of yourself! My website is finally up & I'm so excited to share my DAILY LIFE with you all! From exercises, to cooking meals, to blogging about thoughts/experiences, & everything in between! I'll be posting more stage shots on my website tonight! 💻 nataschaencinosa.com (link in bio)
Backshot like whoa
My heart is pure & my booty real
My booty and legs used to be bigger ( just look back on my gram ), and its because of these two : Powerlifting and bodybuilding, my legs grew like they did, my thighs increased by 10 centimeters in the first year alone
But at my strongest ever, I unfortunately made a true Hollywood stunt chrash down the stairs while carrying my sleeping son, ofcourse I did everything to protect him from the fall, which left me with a broken foot and a knee that still bothers me today, same year it was followed by hernia surgery and breast surgery, and now a year later another thing is coming up which will suppress muscular gains
But that is life, its a roller coaster, up's and down's are inevitably over time. No need to stress because progression arent constantly achieved, losses, failures, let downs, kick's to the head will eventually be part of your life to the end
But - very few "setbacks" are really setting you back, they will all add to increase the fire inside of you wanting to succeed, its all about you continuing the fight for what you want, regardless of how many times you are knocked down - #nevergiveup folks

LONG IMPORTANT READ: 💕If I could post these pictures everyday, I would. ( my saying I can’t but then I wouldn’t be showing any other content). I’ve said it before and I’ll repeat myself again because I think it’s so important to touch on. I got “questioned” / “ judged” on the first 2 pictures. “why do you still look pregnant?” .. or “ I didn’t look like that after I had my baby” , and I’ve had women come to me asking why they still looked pregnant after 2 dats or 4 days or 6 days. LADIES, my friends... we just HAD A BABY! Our bodies went through something for the past 8-9 months ( I say 8 because Noah came 5 weeks early). Our bodies had so much going on!! ITS OKAY TO STILL LOOK PREGNANT AFTER A MONTHS, NEVER MIND 2,3, or 5 days later! Don’t ever think it’s not okay! Y’all just did something AMAZING! We take care of our babies and we can take care of ourselves too! I also get judged by not being with my baby 24/7 as if I can’t take of myself or have “me” time. OKAY FIRST OF ALL , we are allowed to have “me” time, we are allowed to take care of ourselves too! Does our baby needs it’s momma? Yes they do!, but we need ourselves too. Ladies, when you’re baby is sleeping,do what you want to do whether it’s sleeping too, exercising, reading, shopping, doing your nails, having sex ( YESSSS I went there people 🤷🏽♀️) and obviously this is after your first postpartum visit and the MD gives you the ok 👍🏽 . Ladies, I will always say this till I am blue on the face, everyone is different. Everyone’s journey will be different. I am not you and you are not me. This may work for me and it may not work for you. Don’t ever feel the need to race to get to your pre pregnancy body because it took us 8-9 months to have our baby. And don’t EVER let someone make you feel like you aren’t do enough for your child and don’t need “me” time. You are allowed to! We are allowed to!
when you wake up & that 148 pounds of goodness is looking hella savage🔥😈
Weird lighting from the window aside...a little Sunday morning check-in! No idea what I weigh, not tracking calories or macros (other than what is ingrained in my head from all the years of doing so) and working out about 4-5 days per week outside of coaching! Live ya life ✌🏼
Felt like crap today so I decided to put on eyeliner tonight for the first time in like months. Actually made me feel a little better even though I was just lounging on the couch watching The Walking Dead(fuck this episode btw)...
Trying to embrace my crazy curls🐩
Best advice I've gotten for maintaining healthy curls during the winter is trying to avoid straightening, blowdrying, and putting hair up into tight ponytails as much as possible. Curly hair tends to get dried out in these months and doing these have kept my hair much healthier ✌
Today was a fun gym day! @houstonwoods talked me into powerlifting, so we went to the coolest private home gym and lifted all the weight 💪🖤 Hit some new PRs; deadlifted 250 and front squatted 155 ass-to-grass for sets of 3. Also used kilo plates for the first time and got to see how powerlifters train. Total respect because this stuff is not easy. 🙌🙌 Also decided to practice some pole while I was there 😂 I may be able to hang with the powerlifters, but I will always be a poledancer at heart. 💕
💥SWIP LEFT FOR THE FULL-BOD ROUTINE I DID TODAY 💥 #sundaymood —
Felt a little weak today and couldn’t go as strong on my deadlift. But that’s okay, because we all have off days! Tomorrow is a new day to make more gains! #letthegainsbegin —
One more week and i’ll be switching it up to more endurance type of training (more reps, less rest between sets). This will be interesting. 😹💪🏼 #workhardplayharder
P.S Don’t mind the baby hairs 😅
Week 10 of 12 on this cut and I'm pulling the pin.
So, why am I calling it quits with only 2 weeks to go?
Basically, I feel like shit 90% of the time and I've plateaud.
The last 3 to 4 weeks have been a struggle with only having 110 carbs to work with. I've bounced between 3 pounds and because of that, Avatar Nutrition kept cutting my macros/calories. This week alone, they dropped my calories down to 1244, with only 104g carbs to play with. Not cool, bro.
Coming into today, I had already decided I would begin to reverse, so I'm not disappointed in having to make this decision now.
So, what happened?
This is totally normal. Your body is in constant search for homeostasis. As you cut your calories, your body will slow its metabolism to match the caloric intake. Eventually, you stop burning fat and the number on the scale will stop moving. Yes, you may see some fat loss, but the inches will stop coming off at some point as well and having gone through starving myself in the past, I could not put myself through that feeling again.
Goal is to reverse for a few weeks. Feed my body more and get my metabolism burning hot yet again and then I'll maintain for a bit.
It's a cycle.
Mass. Cut. Reverse. Maintain and so forth. This is how we create the most efficient fuel burning machine and that's a huge goal of mine coming out of my most successful year of recovery.
The foundation has been laid and now we just build up. •••••••
see I don’t only workout legs lol quick back workout from the other night 🦋
