Even though I’m working two full time jobs now and clocking about 72 hours a week, I can honestly say that I truly enjoy both of them. I never thought that I’d ever enjoy being a sales rep at Verizon Cellular Sales, but it’s given me an inner spark again... one of my friends/coworkers asked me the other day, “Is that a sim key on your necklace?”, why yes it is 😊 Its a job that I take with me everywhere. It’s such an opportunity for personal growth in so many ways, and I’ve found that it’s refreshed my mind and given a new found energy to my vet tech life as well! This girl is absolutely amazing!
One of the nicest, most humble, kind hearted, hard working and stoic people I have ever met!
We've been working together for just over a year now and her progress is simply amazing!
At the comp she ended up with and weighing 62.75kg.
165kg Squat (shown). This moved faster than it did in training, where she was 3.5kgs heavier.
80kg bench! She failed this a fair few times in training. Still nailed it at this lighter bodyweight ☺
172.5kg Deadlift which moved faster than her 2nd. Due to her slower 2nd lift, I pulled back on her 3rd.
2nd place in Aus.
Tara, it's been fun AF! Stressful at times 🙊 but very fun ☺

Can you do to much benchpress? No no no....but be prepared to crash and burn! 😂

70kg it is😎 When I started gym training (december 2012) my weight was around 60kg. Before that I had lost over 15kg that came when I was pregnant. One of my biggest fears back then was that my weight would increase. I had worked so hard to get in down and I made a promise to myself that I would never let that happen again. However everything changed when I fel in love with the iron❤️
When it comes to building muscles you just have to let your weight increase. BUT it doesn't mean that you have to get great deal of fat with it. Ofcourse a little bit but then you can lose it😁 I have now been training and eating healthy approximately 5 years. Over this time I have had many mini diets to lose the extra fat. So basically its like a moldig a statue. First you put the building material in and then you just sculp it🙂 Simple as that🙃
In powerlifting competition the only thing that matters is strenght. You definitely don't have to look like a fitness competitor. Now I'm losing weight because I have to fit in to my weight class. Additionaly I'm not eating healthy to compete with others or just show others what I can do. No. I'm doing this JUST for myself. I love training and eating healthy, it gives me so much power and energy (eating healthy is also essential to proper recovery). 📍
I'm also a person who believes in balance. Sometimes I eat junkfood and drink alcohol. Why? Because I also love wine and chocolate😄🍷🍫❤️ You can get results even if you don't obey the "rules" 100%🤓 90% is enough😜 📎
When you're disobeying coach and have trained upper body three days in a row...because you've only got 2 pairs of pants that are squat/deadlift appropriate and they're dirty and you're too lazy to do the washing 🙃 but I struggled through anyway and that's the main thing, right? 3 second pauses at 47.5kgs not feeling too bad. Morning guys, I had such a good session yesterday, made me feel SO much better. Especially because I was with @charleymakeupfit , @joeywstrength , @themustykarimjee , @saifullah98 and @sujtmg 💛 ~
Last time I squatted 70kg 2 weeks, I did 6 reps, so I’m happy that I did one more rep than last time!! In a few weeks I’ll be doing 80kg for 3+ reps so that will be interesting😁 ~
I’ve got a doctors appointment at 10:20 so I’ll probably update you guys whats happening later on today if I feel like it☺️ Today hasn’t been to great so far because some reason I’ve got a swollen eye😂 but yeah, life goes on! ~

#WaybackWednesday (aka premature #ThrowbackThursday ) to when Hannah (@miss_windsor) fought as hard as I’ve seen anyone fight for a PB deadlift with this 110kg effort [FIRST VIDEO].
She literally gave it everything she got on our last day (testing day) of @thestrengthschool in late August ’17.
She missed 107.5kg on more than one occasion, worked back down to 105kg, eventually annihilated 107.5kg and then finally locked out 110kg.
She should find it a little easier to smash PBs now though, thanks to ol’ mate Ammonia Inhalant that received from us coaches this past weekend 😵😅😂[SECOND VIDEO].
