I noticed Philippines has consistently good papayas. Interestingly - yellow papayas, much better than the orange bullet-shaped cultivated all over Asia. Creamy like avocado with sweet soft flesh, they are widely available everywhere for 30cents a kilo. We would be enjoying these a lot if it wasnt for the durian addiction 🤤 (We've also seen papaya trees where the stem of the leaf is dark brown, but leaves & bark of the tree looks normal colored green. Simon tells me its a variety one of our friends was seeking, interesting!)
After being away on holiday and then having some gorgeous visitors for a couple of days straight after, I'm in dire need of getting back on the Lox Tox bandwagon!

Te dejo esta idea súper básica de yapa para que prepares el desayuno para mañana. Vas a necesitar:
> 1 banana congelada: cortala en pedacitos y metela en el freezer. > Espinaca: unas 6 hojas aprox.
Mañana licuas la banana con las hojas de espinaca con un chorrito de agua (no abuses así queda muy espumoso, igual andá regulando)
Podés agregar lo que te guste, esta es una receta base.
Arriba le puse polen, semillas de zapallo y granola.

1cup spinach leaves
1 cup coconut water
1/2 cup cucumber,chopped
2 tbsp fresh lime juice
Pinch of ginger
1/2 cup ice
2 boiled eggs
3 tbsp avocado

💥PEANUT BUTTER GREEN SMOOTHIE💥
Recipe: Add 1-2 bananas into a Vitamix or other high speed blender depending on how sweet you like your smoothies. Add 2 cups of leafy greens (I used kale, spinach, and baby chard). Add any seeds of your choosing (I used hemp seeds, chia seeds, and flax seeds). Add 2 tablespoons peanut butter and your choice of plant milk as needed. Blend and enjoy!

Yesterday’s #fulldayofeating via @myfitnesspal was a good one. #Macros and #micros were both on point.
Macros: 1,783 #calories , 174g #carbs , 52g #fat , 137g #protein .
This was very close to my 40/30/30 carbs/fat/protein target. I’ve experimented with different macro splits in the past and this breakdown is what I feel is optimal for me right now. I enjoy the balance I get in not restricting any macro category too severely. With these targets, I get enough protein for muscle gains, enough carbs for energy, and enough fat for hormonal balance.
The biggest change in the last year for me has been lowering my fat intake. I’ve found keeping fat around 50-60g per day not only helps keep my calories in check, but also makes me feel better in general. I’ve said this before, but if I had to choose between low-fat or low-carb dieting (and both will work for #weightloss as long as you’re in a #caloriedeficit ), I’d go #lowfat every time.

Today’s brekky was 1 frozen Banana, 1 cup frozen Mango, 1 Date, 1 handful Spinach, 1 tsp Wheatgrass Powder ➕ 1 cup of Coconut Water blended.
Topped with Coconut Crumble Granola, fresh Banana + Strawbs and a dollop of Vanilla Bean @raglancoconutyoghurt (loving the new flavour guys👌✨)
