Exercise : Close Grip Ez bar Curl.
Target muscle : outer head of the biceps
Music : Strength of a thousand men
How to Perform : 1. Stand up with your torso upright while holding an E-Z Curl Bar at the closer inner handle. The palm of your hands should be facing forward and they should be slightly tilted inwards due to the shape of the bar. The elbows should be close to the torso. This will be your starting position.
2.While holding the upper arms stationary, curl the weights forward while contracting the biceps as you breathe out. Tip: Only the forearms should move.
3.Continue the movement until your biceps are fully contracted and the bar is at shoulder level. Hold the contracted position for a second and squeeze the biceps hard.
4.Slowly begin to bring the bar back to starting position as your breathe in.
5.Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions.
I have thought really hard today and the one question that kept on running through my mind was what makes you happy?! My answer? The gym!! 😁 I love the feeling of living a happy and healthy lifestyle! Loving the feeling of waking up every morning knowing that I'm able to hit the gym and give it my all, my everything! And at the end of my session I'm still smiling! It may be the hardest workout I have ever done, it may be the easiest, but just being around like minded individuals who have been through the same up hill battles with their own journeys and overcoming the odds to get to where they are today is so amazing and inspiring to me! We are all learning! We are motivating one another to be the best we can be! We are all pushing and grinding it out every single day! Every single rep! Every single set! And this is what I love about fitness! It excites me! It fuels me! It drives me! It motivates me! And it pushes me to a whole new level! A point where I'm looking forward to the challenges! To the uphill battles! Long nights! Stressful days!! But just remember you are always able to come out on top!! You are stronger as ever! Motivated! Determined! Fearless!! And a badass warrior who can get through anything!! We are all rockstars!! Now it's time to show everyone what we are made of!! 😊
