Something I struggle with, and have always struggled with, is self discipline and organization. Now, I have self discipline when it comes to fitness and nutrition (what I’m passionate about/my career), but when it comes to (most) other things, that motivation just isn’t there. I have a difficult time getting myself to do things “I don’t want to do.” I push things off, I procrastinate, and I prolong things that I HAVE to do, but don’t want to do (I always struggled with this in school). I often find I’m planning my day, but not following my schedule. Writing down goals, but forgetting I wrote anything down. Start getting ready early, but still leaving late.
And for some of you, this could be fitness.
Something to remember is that there is value in everything that you do. Although it might not seem like it, everything you do has importance: this is something I frequently try to remind myself when I am struggling to find motivation. It might not seem significant enough or important enough IN THAT MOMENT, but you’ll thank yourself later.
Yeah, I don’t want to do that assignment, but it will allow me to pass my class.
Yeah, I don’t want to do my cardio, but it will allow me to reach my fitness goal.
Yeah, I want to cancel that conference call, but it will open up business opportunity.
In the moment, doing X thing might seem like BS, but you’ll thank yourself later.
How do you all stay motivated (aside from fitness?) Like I mentioned, this is something I struggle with. I’ve got the fitness part down, but I would love to hear how some of you stay on track (with life😆)

#InternationalChestDay is the #bestday#Shanghai#fitfam because you don’t have to #squat or #deadlift you do have to remember to take a #gymselfie some of us are not all about the #selfie some of us aren’t even all about the #gains or even the #hashtagspam some of us just want to get out of bed in the morning feeling less pain. So towards that end I’m doing a #brocycle no barbell squats or deadlifts for a month or two. I must dial my training back so I can heal up and study more. I’m still looking for a better job too. I gained a couple kilos as a result of my staycation and this being party season, I still have several parties I’m committed to, so expect some foodporn. My bro cycle of course won’t have a #legday but I plan to do some #unilateralexercises I never have time for. Lots of Bros copy whatever I do, today I popularized rear leg elevated dumbbell split squats or whatever they’re called. People even did side plate bends or whatever they are called after seeing all my oblique gains. No one ever wants to jump in when I’m doing squats or deadlift...
There’s only so much you can learn in one place.
The more you wait, the more time you waste.
In life you need to push yourself out of your comfort zone to get further in life.
Always take a chance.
You will grow, you will learn & most of all you will live more.

looking through pictures from over the summer and I forgot how much I hated this picture at the time because of my stomach. It was one of the first times I wore a bikini in public after my self esteem pretty much crashing and burning and I was lowkey terrified of having people see me. I’m thankful my self image has improved just a little bit over the past few months, because even though I’m still not happy with how I look, I’m trying to focus more on seeing what my body is capable of rather than how it looks. I’m a little nervous posting this, but considering the fact I wouldn’t have even thought of it a few months ago, that’s progress for me 😊

Getting better with the food! Im still eating ice cream ha but keeping eating out low as possible through out the week. Came in on an off day to do a little cardio pump for legs and some supersets for upper body to get that blood flow!! Staying consistent! Do work!
