It took me 9 weeks to transform my life. I was about to walk away from my marriage.. take my kids and become a single mum. Today my nephew was up from Invercargill, so we headed to Willowbank for an outing. We made a couple new friends in the process. I Love getting to be a tourist in your own town. Where are you from & whats the best activity to do there?

My poor little man hasn't been eating much over the past couple of months so I've been getting worried about him not gaining weight. Now we know that he's probably had minimal appetite but it may also be difficult for him to swallow, so we've been giving him some of our morning fruit smoothie, which he loves!
With our wholefood sachets mixed into the smoothie plus some healthy fats from avocado, at least he is getting some good quality plant-based protein as well as the micronutrients he needs for energy and growth. Hopefully his appetite will come back after surgery tomorrow!💪
We've been hit hard with sickness this week and with it being rainy cold weather I decided to whip together some chicken noodle soup. There's something about chicken noodle soup that is so comforting and cozy.
Packing is beginning. Being a single parent doesn't mean you can't have fun and enjoy a holiday away. These school holidays I'm taking my two teenagers and we are road tripping to one of the most beautiful parts of Australia. The Great Ocean road In Victoria. As we will be moving a lot I need to be a little organised with some food staples. We will eat out but having some in the car to go with us each day will help. As you can see this portion of the food is not all 100% clean. I'm real and the kids enjoy a treat. We enjoy a balanced diet and when holidaying it's ok to be a little relaxed and don't beat yourself up.

We spent about 3 hours talking about everything from my past and present on ALL aspects of my health and wellness and how these things are effecting my current health issues. I am filled with so much hope to finally crack down on my IBS and I am ready to fill my mind up with all the loving its been (obviously) craving!

Death by front squats. Was supposed to do hip thrusts but my glutes are still sore from heavy lunges so decided to target the quads. Couldn't stand by the end - great feeling 👍🏼

I don't even recognize the Jennie from a few years before! She's gorgeous then & now, but she explained how she lacked confidence and self-esteem just from life's circumstances. Poor habits allowed her to gain unwanted weight.

Respeta tu cuerpo
Tal vez te gustaría perder unos cuantos kilos o tonificar tu cuerpo, está bien, no eres hipócrita por querer mejorar tu salud. Respetar tu cuerpo es aceptarlo y sentirte feliz mientras consigues tu objetivo. Pero, recuerda que la felicidad no la da el peso y mucho menos determina el valor como personas.
Respetar tu cuerpo significa no poner expectativas irreales a tu cuerpo. Tengo muy claro que heredé las curvas de mi abuela y mi madre, aunque en mi adolescencia fui bastante flaca, ahora no lo soy, entiendo perfectamente que jamás voy a tener el cuerpo ideal que las revistas o chicas de Instagram tienen, eso es algo irrealista, ofensivo y maltrato para mi cuerpo. No somos unitalla o robots, tenemos que parar de hacerlo, que el dejar de ser un sólo tamaño sea nuestro objetivo. Qué respetar, apreciar y amar nuestro cuerpo sea nuestra prioridad.
Te dejo algunos tips para tu camino intuitivo y de respeto:
1. Utiliza mantras a diario
2. Medita todos los días
3. Únete con personas que que tengan pensamientos positivos acerca de su cuerpo o sé tú la que inicié conversaciones positivas
4. Reconoce que la felicidad no viene del peso o las medidas de tu cuerpo
5. Lee libros acerca de esté tema
6. Comienza un diario de escritura conciente dónde sea tu terapia para descubrir tus sentimientos acerca de tu cuerpo y que te llevo a tener esas ideas
7. Camina en la naturaleza
