I’m always putting immense pressure on myself to do things perfectly whether thats a workout, an assignment or even something as mundane as making my bed. It can get to the point where i let that pressure pile on top of me and i can’t see beyond the stress and the anxiety that it puts on me. I was taught when i was little by my dad that as long as I do my best that’s what counts and i need to keep reminding myself of that and hopefully with the help of @withselflove I will be able to destress and realise that sometimes things can’t be perfect and my best is good enough 💕 .

🤔When to implement certain forms of cardio (if any at all) still happens to remain a mystery to many, along with what the “actually” are.

💡Here is some general guidelines I use with the #megastars
~
🤜🏻#HIIT
👉Do not go over 20 mins for each burst. If you can do over 20 mins, I would love to watch your intensity on the “all out” portion of your intervals.
👉If you have weak/small legs, minimize interval usage. It can take away a lot of power for your leg days, leading to overtraining.
~
🤛🏻#MISS
👉Great for the average person looking to increase their total caloric burn per day
👉I would not start out at a high volume, nor would I go over 1 hour per session, if it even needs to get that high.
👉Be unable to talk without needing to take a breath mid sentence. If you can talk with ease, you’re probably not doing MISS.
👉“Give it” on this, keep heart rate around 135-140 BPM.
~
🤝LISS
👉Great for the beginner to start mobilizing fat, and getting your heart healthy.
👉I don’t generally use this with a lot of competitors, seeing as it doesn’t have a high caloric expenditure.
👉I save this for when HIIT and MISS are topped out, and we’re looking for more total cals burnt (even if it’s minimal) without taking away food.

#Mindset is everything..I find it a necessity in order for your old, limiting habits to die and be replaced by the habits you prefer. Replacing negative thinking with a positive affirmation is a great way to get the ball rollin, as your thoughts will eventually become your biggest supporter. Keep this in mind, self love does not equate to vanity. Self love is what will allow you to be persistent towards your goals, regardless of how many times you may fail. Self love inevitably makes you selfless. As you become more accepting/compassionate/loving towards yourself, it’ll also reflect onto how you treat/help others. There is no way you can pour from an empty cup. Dreaming of being this lean again but not dreaming of the diet it took to get this lean 😫🤷🏻‍♀️ oh well... after 2 weeks it’s cake 🙄 1️⃣ I finished my overtraining program (8 weeks with a moderate diet) and this last 4 weeks I spent “resting” which has been brutal. I’ve been going to the gym once a day OR NOT AT ALL 😱 Today I’ll start my Bikini Program (16 weeks with intense/brutal/killmenow diet) so it’s 4 months, but it gets me show ready 👙 I have mentally prepared for this/been drinking gallons of water this past week (also ate the last of my PB) so the transition should be easier than the past... you know....out of nowhere where I impulsively decide to go cold turkey and be miserable lol. When I'm out in nature I like to stop, take in long deep breaths, and enjoy the moment and the beauty that I am surrounded in.

I believe God designed this world and our planet to be beautiful. I believe he created it for our enjoyment and something we can find peace in.

So I went out to the park this morning to do some sprints and was thinking about how beautiful this world is. .
