Thank you to all my IG friends. Your support is really what is keeping me going and @from_beer_to_ketosis, my roommate for doing this keto journey with me. I have hit some hard rough patches but he has answers and help at any bump in the road.
One is brown, one is white. Can you tell? One of the eggs boasts that it has a high amount of Omega-3. No it doesn’t. No egg does. I’m more interested in whether the chicken was truly free-ranging, finding much of its own natural food. It’s nice that it’s fed flax, but not a big deal. The egg will still contain about a 10:1 ratio of 0mega-6:-3. Every bit helps, but since you’re interested in about a 4:1 ratio, eggs will never balance your fats. You’re eating them for other good reasons. Hint: oily fish are the antidote.

I’ve had so many Non Scale Victories this month that I don’t care that the scale hasn’t moved 😎
But why didn’t it, if I’ve had success this month? I tried to introduce apples, carrots, and potatoes into my diet to see if my body could deal with natural carbs. The answer is NO! Basically my body hates carbs, no matter the form that they’re in. Okay body I hear you ❤️
I will have insurance starting in December, and I’m going to pursue answer about my thyroid. I’ve gone down this road before but lack of insurance stopped me from going far. My cousin has severe hypothyroidism, and I certainly show some symptoms of it. We shall see! Either way I’m going to pursue answers about my metabolism.
Just doing a little oven multitasking over here. Roast rack of lamb and curried cauliflower with green onions and shitaki mushrooms. 455F for 25 to 30 minutes. The trick is to preheat your cast iron pan with the oven. That way you get a nice sear on the lamb😆. Happy cooking.
