This 🐒 ... it’s been a looooooong school day ... you know the kind that have no focus & seem to last forever & you never want them, especially on a Friday. 🤨😢🤯 So I said, “OK. Whatever we get done in an hour is it. That’ll be the bell 🛎 for the day.” He whipped out a 💯 on his math test & tackled language arts & reading like a BOSS! 📚😏💪🏼 ... and now... we’re DONE-ZO!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Something about a run that clears the mind, body and soul from all the daily stressors! A run can release natural endorphins the “feel good hormones.” If I could run I day I would! Love that natural high! 🏃🏼♀️❤️✌🏼
Do you ever drink when socializing because you feel [R U D E] for N O T drinking?!? 😳
You're not alone!! 🙋 A trick I keep up my sleeve is to ALWAYS have a (nonalc) drink in hand, especially one that looks like an alcy bevvy 🍹. That way: ✅No one asks why you're not drinking (it's your choice if you tell anyone or not)
✅It helps from years of habit to hold something in hand while socializing
✅ Reduces the feeling of 'out of place-ness' that can occur when we first quit alcohol
If I'm at a bar/pub = I walk myself over to the bar as soon as I'm empty handed and order my own drink (soda + lime or ginger beer) like the independent woman I am. If I order it in a beer glass it looks like apple cider.🍻 If I go to a friend's house = I bring AMPLE things to drink (sparkling grape juice + soda water + non-alcoholic beer + cranberry juice etc) as I never know what / how much everyone else will be drinking and I like to over prepare.. I actually bring WAY too much but leave some in the car incase I run out (I'm a fast drinker...but that's another story..) 🍸🍺🍷🍹🍶☕ If I'm out for dinner = (this was the hardest one in early days as often everyone at the table can hear you ordering when the waitstaff take orders - I would usually avoid dinners while I was getting comfortable in my new skin) then I just order with (sometimes very forced) confidence. While others order wine or beer here's me: "Chocolate milkshake please" 🙊
It gets much much easier but starting out is all about changing habits 💫🌟 Remember at the end of the day WE are in charge of our OWN decisions. 🙏
OWN those decisions like the independent person that you ARE. ✌🙌

I’ve always hated my legs, I still kinda do 😏 Incorporate heavy lifting #likeaboss Your lower body holds some of the biggest muscles in your body…the more you lift the more you burn and the more energy you’ll have during the day. 💪🏼 Lifting heavy weights is not going to bulk you up, relax it’s a myth; women have 15 to 20 times less testosterone than men. 💞 Lifting heavy is going to tone you. A plane to a boat to a bike in less than two hours searching for the perfect beach to snorkel in Sydney. Ended up watching surfers in the rain after I went snorkeling. I made some surfer friends and shared my fries and got a surf lesson. Lots of attention with my captains hat. I didn’t love being called Brittany Spears but, whatever. Lol. I love wandering alone.
