Tattooing over scars and severed nerves takes skill and knowledge.
Nerve firing, weird sensations, referral pain...it's all something I've experienced. I have a lot of tattoos, but this was a different experience than the rest.
Go to someone knowledgable with scars, like Chino, if you're looking for someone to tattoo over them. So grateful for this guy's generosity and talents in doing my tattoo for me.

A big one for me is procrastination. I follow the 5 sec rule for that. Once I decide I want to do something, I get to it within 5 secs because otherwise I can very easily talk myself out of it.

I’m hitting the road, which means fridge dump day. This brunch parfait tasted so good and ticked all of the 6 Ayurvedic tastes. Yesterday I received and unexpected surprise. Needless to say it gave me a little more self confidence for yesterday and will carry on for a while. I am so thankful for that surprise and will continue working towards my goal. My biggest thought has always been work in silence and let your actions prove the value. Sometimes it’s hard to do that and sometimes it’s hard to know if anyone ever notices. Yesterday showed me that people are watching even if you aren’t speaking directly to them. I am thankful for those who support me and those who have given me opportunities to shine. To the person who gave me the gift, you may not realize the impact that it had on my life at that very moment. Thank you for showing me that hard work pays off and that the little things don’t go unnoticed. You my friend are a diamond in the rough. To the women who may not think people are watching. You never know who sees your work, or the effort you make. Keep your head up and eyes on your goals for the dive and determination speaks volumes. hot coffee and good conversation does the soul wonders. although, i just realized its only wednesday and I’ve been planning my whole day around the mindset that tomorrow is friday. Oooops 🤷🏽♀️ at least I’ve got caffeine right?!
A simple forward fold. One of my favorite asanas. Not just for when I'm actually practicing yoga but at any time in the day, when I need to take a moment to go inward. I could possibly fall asleep in this pose, that's how deeply relaxing - and rejuvenativing - it is for me.
What are you diffusing today? I’m over here in bliss with Geranium and Bergamot. I had an iTovi scan and the first oil it recommended was Geranium. I suffer from eczema so to read this and then research Geranium and all its benefits to our skin was pretty awesome. Highly recommend this book if you farm, garden, or want to eat better and improve your health. Eating organic doesn't mean anything if the soil the crop is grown in, has been stripped of nutrients and minerals. Increasing the nutrition and quality of our veggies has become one of the central factors in how we grow our crops and grow our farm. Building a healthy, living soil is paramount to our health and the health of our environment. Move of the day #motd assisted pistol squats. One of my fitness goals for this year is to be able to do these unassisted by year’s end.
