I STRUGGLED all through school and college. I had to work my ass off to get decent grades! Learning just didn't come easy for me, making me believe I just didn't have what it takes. My self-esteem was in the toilet on and off a large portion of my life. Still to this day it can be a struggle. I have to work hard at making the changes I need to for myself and learn new ways. I'm not saying it's easy, but it's worth it.

Never felt like I had a purpose.

Tonight as I sit outside by myself, it is so peaceful and I started to think back on my journey. 💕

I sure love this and agree 100%. Especially today, we have gotten a wonderful 1.80" for a break from harvest even though we only had two days of running the kiddos we're getting cabin fever. It's always nice to enjoy a wonderful day of family relaxing ❤️ it does NOT happen often around here. Prepping for my week: to do lists, I'm obsessed with lists and get a high off of crossing everything off and seeing my accomplishments on paper! Resetting your mind gives you a fresh slate to begin your week with nothing but happiness! First off let me say how hard it was to keep still to take this picture 😂 my arms are shotttt! "I should eat healthier." "I could try to get help to stay on track." "I would get to the gym if I had more time." Shoulda. Woulda. Coulda.
2.5 years ago, that was me. 18 months after having my first child I set foot in the gym ONCE. Went for ONE run. I was out of shape. I wasn't eating well. I did not feel like my athletic self. I missed playing soccer. I felt like I had no time to get it done.
I started doing 30 min workouts from home and it changed my life. I no longer had to stress about getting to the gym or finding childcare. I gained back time in my day because I was so much more productive after getting moving in the morning. I was able to stay active throughout my entire 2nd pregnancy because of my involvement with my challenge groups and wanting to lead them by example. I was able to shave off those post partum pounds within a few months because I had the right tools and the right support to do so. It was so much EASIER the 2nd time around.
I was no longer that shoulda, woulda, coulda person. I was the person that DID. I showed up. I got results. And showed others that they could do the same.
You can do the same as well. I know how you're feeling because I was there, but no longer need to feel that shoulda, woulda, coulda feeling. There is another way.

I took the time to actually meal plan this week instead of flying by the seat of my pants! My meal plan does include chocolate (energy bites), wine on Friday and a little leeway for a cheat meal this week because this is all about a lifestyle ;moderation and being healthy while still enjoying the things we love!! My next accountability group starts tomorrow which I am super pumped about!.. just other women like myself supporting and motivating each other to do their best because we know this isn't easy but it's much easier when you don't have to do it alone!! It started with a little inkling and I knew I needed a shift. I had had a really stressful spring and summer. I was using a crutch to calm me down- that glass of wine at the end of the day. It’s not much, but sometimes it was more than one. And sometimes more than just one or two nights a week.
Somewhere along the way regular drinking in my age demographic became cool, like smoking for teenagers. All the sudden there were Facebook groups for “Moms Who Drink” and post after post on Instagram of the perfect drink.
Like many of us, I had a glass of wine at the end of a long day, like a reward. There had to be a better way to deal with stress.
Slowly but surely my energy decreased and along with it, my ability to sleep through the night (and I can’t blame my kids for that!). Something needed to shift.
I made a commitment to myself to a 30 day cellular cleanse.
In only a few short days I felt lighter, brighter and happier. I found I could deal with challenges much better. I’m well past the 30 day mark and I don’t feel like I want to change a thing, I feel that great.

I was the boy who came from a broken home, who saw his mother lose herself to drugs. that was the moment my life came crashing down, when I heard the news that no boy wanted to hear."Your going into a home" I never forget that first night of crying myself to sleep, remembering my mums tears as she said goodbye.
I was 8 years old with my brother who was 4 years old. In a strange place we called called are home but it didn't feel like home.
The first 2 homes were temporary, I felt like an outsider, not part of a family, until we got a longterm foster parent who treated us as if we were her own. The love I felt was real and I also had Respite Carers who showed me unconditional love, for the first time we felt normality and love in a safe home. They will never know what they did for me and my brother.
I was a shy boy that kept a lot of things locked inside the teachers never understood me and mistaken me for the child that gets easily distracted not knowing I was hurting and worrying inside.
I used to pray for my mum day and night, worrying if my Mum would make it through the night,
As a foster child trust is everything, we get afraid of getting close just Incase you leave, but take your time and give unconditional love We have so much love to give, just give us time, we will never forget what you do for us.
So if you have a loving home & your thinking of fostering, it will be the best thing you ever do.
Children are pure and you will save a life that just might save the world
This motto always speaks to me no matter how many times I hear it. We as Christians have become so caught up in the flashiness of religion that we have forgotten verses like Mark 12: 29-31 ""The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”” (NIV)
Guys, being a Christian isn't complicated! Stop throwing in all the extra crap and then go about trying to justify it. I'm praying that we all go through a major change in heart and go back to learning to love like God loves.
