So this morning I did my workout in the dark ... therefore no video clips. BUT! I found another good #moveoftheday from yesterday’s workout that I thought I could share anyways! Haha! I really truly enjoy my workouts. I LOVE seeing results! I love knowing that my hard work is paying off! I love spending time with myself! I love new adventures, new obstacles (because they’re detours in the right direction), new experiences. Life is meant to be enjoyed! So why do something that you hate doing?? If I could workout, coach, and dance all day long - I would. (And I pretty much do ❤️) I have so much fun sharing my journey with all of you! Love it, don’t love it - whatever! I’m here to do me ❤️ I’m here because I LOVE ME ❤️ I show up every single day because I deserve it. I want the best for myself so why should I settle for anything else?! I want to create an exciting, energetic, laughter filled life for myself and my loved ones. So why would I let anything get in the way of that? I DON’T! 😃 I do what I do every day because I love who I am and I love helping others ❤️ so no matter how tired I am, what time of day I have to get up - I will do it. Because I have goals! And I have dreams! Even though today was leg day, it's Friday...so we flex! 💪
Day 5/80 and my legs are Jell-O. And...I returned to the gym! First time I've needed to in 2 months!! The wonderful part was that it was almost empty. Exactly how I like it! Happy Friday everybody! Now on to St Paddy's day prep... Guinness cupcakes! 🍀

How many years have gone by where you have not worked towards your dreams? How much time has it been since you proactively worked on your health?
The excuse I always hear is “I just don’t have time”. I’m gonna give you a little tough love here. Let’s change that “I don’t have time” to “it’s not a priority for me”. So now every time you think about putting your health and dreams in the back burner, think that you are basically saying that they are not a priority.
Now tell me... how does that feel? .

Today is a new day full of exciting adventures. I got my workout done at 6:45 am this morning. That is EARLY for me! In the past - I used to really struggle with sleep - I used to run on 2-3 hours. And that was normal for me. So 6 am was a normal for me. However, NOT ANYMORE! 😂 I have worked really hard to set a solid self care routine and now my body expects 7-8 hours. Last night I had a horrible sleep and slept maybe 2 hours total. I just could NOT shut my brain off! I woke up and I was MAD! I have a long day today and running on no sleep, on my training schedule - is NOT a good combo for me 😂🙈 (#grumpkythemonkey ) but instead of letting that run my day - I chose to press play! I chose to get my sweat on and TOTALLY CRUSH IT! ❤️ it changed my entire day!! I feel SO MUCH BETTER! And I am so grateful that even though I’m exhausted - I made a choice to put myself first. To take that 40 minutes this morning and set the mood for my day - everything else aside ❤️ so this #progresspic is one of victory! One of triumph! And one of celebration! Because I LOVE MYSELF! AND I FEEL GOOD IN MY SKIN! Sleep or not! 😂 and I will catch up on my rest this Sunday! ❤️ but until then, I will breathe, and celebrate the fact that I have incredible things on the go! I don’t have time either. I make the time. 👉🏼Sorry, but I call BS on your excuse that you don’t have time. You should say instead, it’s not my priority. 👉🏼Because you make time for other things...like your Netflix series or your social media scrolling, for example.
Be honest with yourself. When you prioritize YOU, you’re contributing to a more fulfilled life, a longer life, a healthier life and overall endurance, energy and happiness. Why wouldn’t you put 30 minutes on your schedule to achieve all of this, right?! Sure you may have to wake up earlier or sacrifice a tv show, but wouldn’t it be worth it? Yep. It would. 👉🏼It’s simple, but not easy and especially trying to do it on your own. I can help you.
