📝Perform all the 7 exercises with no rest for best result.
1. Single arm push-up - 6 rep right arm / 6 rep left arm.
2. Pistol squat - 6 rep right leg / 6 rep left leg
3.Superman Plank - 30 seconds.
4.Single let step up -6 rep right leg / 6 rep left leg.
5.Dip - 12 Repetitions.
6.100% Sprint - 15 Seconds.
7.Clapping push-up - 12 Repetitions.

I made meatloaf on Saturday when I had the extra time and stuck it in the freezer until I was ready to eat it. Tonight, I finally tried it with the rest of my spaghetti squash and it was not disappointing! 🤤

I have lost 13.4 pounds and 26 inches total since I started my journey on August 29th.
I feel so much better. You can do it as well. You just have to believe in yourself and understand that it does not happen overnight. There is no magic quick fix. This is a journey for me this is not a I want to lose 20 pounds and I am done. This is a complete lifestyle change.
I am thankful for finding my coach, I am thankful for the support of my husband and family, and friends. I am thankful that I am able to workout and get stronger. I am thankful for my overall health and being able to be a role model for my daughter and show her how to live a healthy lifestyle.

I am a huge fan of the egg. Simple, beautiful and packed full of nutrients. A soft boiled egg, they say, is one of the best things you can eat when traveling. The suggestion is that you get all the local proteins and enzymes introduced into your system without the denaturing of overcooking. I cooked up what feels like a lifetime supply...in reality it's a freezer batch that will last me 3-4 weeks •
Beet & carrot are the base for the sauce with grass-fed beef added in. The recipe is a bit of a freestyle, changing a little each time I make it and I swear I love it more & more every time 😊

Buttery Maple Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Brussels with Toasted Pecans
2 cups Brussels sprouts, halved
1 large sweet potato, thinly sliced
1/3 cup pecans
1 tbsp Avocado oil
1.5 tbsp Grass fed butter
1 tbsp Maple syrup
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1. Preheat oven to 350. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
2. Toss veggies in avocado oil and sea salt until evenly coated. Spread evenly on tray. Bake for 15 minutes.
3. Remove and stir veggies. Bake for another 10 minutes.
4. While baking, melt butter and mix with maple syrup and cinnamon.
5. Remove tray again and pour maple + butter mixture over the veggies. ** leave a tiny bit aside for the pecans. Stir and place back in oven for 5-10 minutes
6. Heat a skillet, then add pecans with remaining maple mixture. Let toast for about 3 minutes, stirring frequently so they don’t burn *feel free to double the recipe for a larger group
I’ve been focusing on more nutrient dense/whole food options. I know it’s not possible to eat completely non-processed/clean but I’m going to enforce the 80-20 rule. 80% food choices from the nutrient dense, whole options. Then the 20% will be my indulgence.. while still counting my macronutrients. Here’s one of many examples I will be sharing in the near future. Now pleassseee remember we are ALL different and require varied intakes. I share because I know it helps others get ideas!! I’m at a slight surplus right now, focusing on functional training/reworking my foundation.
🔹Breakfast: 2 eggs, 1 egg white, spinach, tomato, with @traderjoes Everything but the Bagel seasoning. A side of plain oatmeal with cinnamon and flax seed.
🔹Snack: @siggisdairy yogurt with pineapple and apple.
🔹Lunch: Grilled chicken breast, jasmine rice, green beans, and avocado.
🔹Snack: 2 hard boiled eggs, tomato, and cucumber with more EBTB seasoning.
🔹Dinner: (not my usual.. I had to play macro Tetris) Turkey bacon, jasmine rice, and avocado.
🔹Snack: Spinach, blueberry, banana and water smoothie!!
Veggies-first policy being enforced early this week ✌🏼 Here's a simple strategy to make sure it happens (because 🍾🥧🍗🥔): drink a smoothie for breakfast and eat a (filling) salad for lunch. Find easy, prep-ahead salad and bowl recipes in our fall meal prep challenge (link in profile!) 👆🏼 and my favorite thin mint kale smoothie below 👇🏼(serves 1):
•1 big handful of kale
•1/2 frozen banana
•1 cup non-dairy milk
•2 tablespoons cocoa powder
•1 serving of collagen peptides or protein powder, optional (I like @vitalproteins)
•dash of vanilla extract + peppermint extract
•a bit of stevia, optional
•1 tablespoon cacao nibs for garnish, optional
Blend all ingredients, except cacao nibs, in a high-speed blender until smooth. Top with cacao nibs if using. Enjoy! ✨ (📷: the lovely @foodbymars)
Another recipe from “I can’t cook, what do I bring to Thanksgiving?!” (link in bio) The veggies - in all of their contrasting color glory - do all of the heavy lifting in this radicchio and delicata squash salad with fried sage recipe from @brooklynsupper. Also, radicchio is fun to say.
Thanksgiving week is in full swing. I’m doing my shopping today(pray for me). I always love trying a new recipe each year, along with the trade and true favorites! 🍗
Check out this delish roast butternut squash dish! It’s a festive side dish for any holiday spread!
Here’s the skinny:
1 large butternut squash, peeled + chopped
a hearty drizzle of olive oil (1-2 TBSP)
salt, pepper, and garlic powder, to taste
1-2 cups fresh cranberries (add a little, or a lot!)
2-3 TBSP honey (or extra, to taste)
1/4 cup finely crumbled feta or goat cheese
ground cinnamon, to taste
fresh or dried parsley, pumpkin seeds to garnish, optional
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F.
Lightly drizzle or spritz a baking sheet with olive oil.
Add cubed squash to the sheet along with another drizzle of olive oil.
Sprinkle with a light layer of salt, pepper, and garlic powder, based on taste preference.
Roast at 400 F for 25 minutes on the center rack.
At the 25 minute mark, pull out the oven rack, and add your fresh cranberries to the roasting pan.
Return to the oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cranberries have started to soften and burst a bit, resembling really juicy craisins vs fresh firm cranberries.
Remove from oven and add a sprinkle of cinnamon (approx. 1/8-1/4 tsp depending on preference) along with feta and honey. I listed the honey measurements I used, but depending on whether you used fresh cranberries or dried, sweeten to taste.
Garnish with parsley for a burst of color and dig in while it's hot!

For the kale pesto: extra virgin olive oil, pine nuts, kale, garlic, lemon, salt & pepper
I mixed the kale pesto and added it to fresh pasta, and placed everything on a bed of kale (that was massaged in olive oil, lemon and garlic)
Top with whatever you like, I added avocado balls and toasted pistachios
As we all know, eggs are basically all I eat for breakfast, so thankfully I found a different way to make them. Oven baked egg cups for the win! 🙌🏼🍳 And now meal prep is officially done for the week #eggsforbreakfast#mealpreplife#creatureofhabit

One of the hardest things to do is to stop caring about what others think, and do what’s best for you!
A year ago did I️ think I’d have a fitness account? Heck no, that would be weird. What would everyone think? I️ don’t have a six-pack, who would take me seriously? What do I️ have to offer that all these other accounts don’t? Well this by far has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself, both mentally and physically.
