Ummmmm so about this meatless item. It wasn't the taste I was expecting and I've tried a ton of vegan and vegetarian products. For $6 this pack can stay in the store. It has a funny taste to it. So, I'll just throw them in a salad to finish it off. I'm getting my $6 worth. Lol!
We enjoyed #tacotuesday with semi-green smoothies! Adding bok choy was purely on a whim, but not regrettable because it's packed with protein, fiber and almost all the essential vitamins and minerals our bodies need to thrive. We added some of The Mom's protein powder to the mix, as well! Thank goodness for the sweet additions; that lady has some highly tolerant taste buds 😝... 🍑🤗🍎😉🍌😄🍍

I hope you could smell this , last night dinner was a delicious red lentil fusilli , I made this last week too after I got a bunch of mushrooms (Shitake , shimeji , maitake) and I had not much idea of what I was going to cook that night ,I throw them in the pan ,together with some crashed garlic , thin slices of onion and some cherry tomatoes after couple of minutes I added 2 spoonful of macadamia ricotta , then cooked pasta , salt and pepper and a Little of the boiling water .
The result ? An amazing and comforting gluten free dish , done in less than 15 mns ⏱
-------------------------------------------------- Como me gustaría que pudieras oler esto, la cena de anoche fue un delicioso fusilli de lentejas rojas, lo prepare también la semana semana pasada después de haber comprado un montón de champiñones y no tenía mucha idea de lo que iba a cocinar esa noche, los metí en la sartén , junto con un poco de ajo, finas rodajas de cebolla y algunos tomates cherry , después de un par de minutos he puse 2 cucharadas de ricotta de macadamia (casera ) la pasta cocida, sal y pimienta y un poco de agua hirviendo.
El resultado ? Un increíble plato de pasta libre de gluten y preparado en menos de 15 mns..🙂
Day 64: Quorn nuggets and sautéed zucchini
Meatless tayo for a change! While I'm not a stranger to meat substitutes, I'm not a big fan. However, Quorn piqued my curiosity because I saw numerous posts about it on social media. So I decided to try the nuggets and see what all the fuss is about. They're good taste- and texture-wise. You can tell, though, that these aren't chicken - not necessarily a bad thing, but I have to postpone judgment until my two bosses give their verdict.😊 .
I paired the nuggets with sautéed zucchini and tomatoes (Day 40) - a heartier-than-usual side which I think complements today's baon perfectly. .

how: sauté peppers & onion in olive oil/garlic/s&p/crushed red pepper flakes. add cherry tomatoes & cheese. make pasta according to box & mix into veggies. enjoy! 🍝
