When you are enjoying a peaceful moment so much, that you decide to lay and take it all in. @e.v53 wasn’t posing for me, I just decided to capture this moment because he looked so peaceful and comfortable :). #optoutside
There is nothing more beautiful than the moment a bride anxiously, yet joyfully approaches her groom. He waits for patiently, anticipating the biggest moment of his life. And she wants nothing more than to make him happy. At the altar, a bride and groom willfully die to themselves to live for one another. And that is the greatest gift we can give another person: full, unconditional, self-less love.
Stay tuned for tomorrow’s announcement of the 2018 Giveaway Winner at 5 pm Central.
Here’s a little sneak peak of my brother-in-law and his gorgeous girlfriend, Chloe. I was so honored to take their photos. We had such a blast frolicking in the snow.
When is your favorite season to take annual photos?y
Ready for more of this and other gorgeous details in 2018.
I am really looking forward to this year’s weddings now that I’ve had a bit of a break from shooting them, I also can’t wait to accomplish some of the goals I have for my business, as rough as 2017 was...I can just feel that this year is going to be a good one.
Anyone else feel the same way?
You wouldn't know from looking at this picture, but you actually have to make a small but terrifying jump across a gap in the rocks and watch your life flash before your eyes to get to this spot. I told them they definitely didn't have to do it and that we would find a different overlook, but my clients are way too cool for me and did it anyway.
These two were visiting Colorado and decided they wanted to do an adventure session while they were here! I absolutely love working with couples visiting from out of state, I become part photographer/part tour guide. It's so fun getting to share what I love about this area! Also, this feels like an ad for puffy jackets and I'm all here for it. #puffyjacketsforlife
That awkward moment when you’re doing a romantic photoshoot with your husband, and you realize an airplane is about to land on you both. #awkward#noflyzone#truestory
Here’s the story: Greg and I wanted to take some post-wedding photos together IN our wedding attire (a fun tradition we plan to do annually). For our shoot, we went out exploring and discovered a beautiful field filled with wildflowers and cotton. We spent several hours in that area exploring and creating images. Once the sun went down, it grew dark quickly so we grabbed our sparklers for a final hoorah. After a spark landed on my dress, burning it slightly, we knew it was time to call it quits.
Just as we both looked up to head back, we were shocked to see an airplane heading directly towards us and our car. Greg ran to the car to turn on the fog lights and let our presence be known. Thankfully the plane landed in the field adjacent to us, a few yards away. It seemed like it was going to land on top of us on the small country road we were on. It was a crazy adventure to say the least, and for somebody terrified of flying and airplanes it was a close call!
What’s the craziest thing that’s happened to you during a photoshoot? This one definitely takes the cake for me.
Trust plays a big part in highlining and climbing. You have to be able to trust your life to your partner. If one of you messes up, you are both in trouble. This makes our relationship stronger! Enjoy your weekend! 📸 @curiousraccoon
