When it comes to income the goal is not to work harder but to work smarter. I work less hours than I ever have in my life yet my income is substantially more than it has ever been before. You can work hard and still be broke.
There is nothing most valuable than time and use it in a way that doesn't wastes your energy
When you evolving no matter if you like it or not you can't ignore those two truths in any aspect of life
Shout out to my daughter and favorite collaborator who gathered up all of her babysitting money and surprised me with this t-shirt for the Kickstarter launch. I am full of gratitude for all of the support for Persistent Sisters! #persist#girlpower
I haven’t said much about #MeToo . The past couple of days I’ve been reading your stories. One of the miraculous things about this hashtag is that it brings our collective secrets into the open. I believe there will be a lot of healing that comes from this.
Each person’s experience is different, and it’s clouded and shaped by our earliest encounters with inappropriate sexual behavior.
For some, those first cat-calls were our first loss of innocence. For others, they were just one more hit in a lifetime of painful memories.
I fall in the second category.
I’d learned to disassociate from a very early age. Over the years I’ve been able to reconnect with Little Leslie ... the toddler/young girl/adolescent who had to forget to survive. So, my experiences as an adult, and they are many, were tinted with my predisposition to leave my body and flee from the pain.
These experiences have created warriors, many wounded.
And now they’re out of the closet and in your face.
THANK YOU MEN for standing up and being accountable ... and for your support.
I believe in the midst of all the shit of 2016/2017, we are going to make it, and we’re going to understand each other better, and love each other more.
Keep telling your stories. And it’s ok to create a new story today ... one of empowerment, strength and love. ❤️
