I love watching a bride and groom's faces as they slowly come together at the start of a wedding ceremony.
For Toni and Scott's August wedding at Crystal Lake Golf Club, which is the subject of my latest blog post, this was easily one of my favorite moments of the day.
I loved watching Toni, a sweet and hilarious bride, look so excited as she held onto her father's arm and made the long walk down two full-length paths en route to a standing awning overlooking a beautiful lake.
And her groom? He was simply adorable.
Scott held back tears, as did many guests, as Toni made her way down the aisle and I can't blame him. Not only did she look gorgeous but it was a picture perfect day (albeit a little hot) and the start of an incredibly sweet and downright hysterical ceremony.
So, if you haven't done so already, head on over to my website and check out Scott and Toni's wedding day by visiting https://www.pauljspetrini.com/scott--toni (Link also in bio.) Thanks for reading!
This time last year I was in Naples photographing a festival - the one all of Naples gathers for to find out how the year ahead will unfold. The festival of San Gennaro dates back to the year 1300. I've just published a photographic essay on my blog. Click on the link in my profile. #travel#naples#italy#photography
Do you know how I know that this photog life is for me? Because it's literally all I think about 24/7.. I had a dream last night I was posing couples 🤦🏽♀️. I can't keep my mouth shut any longer.... there are going to be some exciting things happening over here this winter. Rebranding? Website? Major Giveaway? All of the above??! 💃🏽
It took me about eight years to finally pick up and read this book. Because I knew the premise and had small children, I just couldn't do it. Wow - what I had been missing! This book will challenge you, comfort you, and make you think about God's sovereignty in a whole new way. If you read the book, what was your favorite part?
We had an absolute blast yesterday with @mstashalarae @fareedahaleem @nmermans @saramcphetridge @jackmcphetridge @madisoncolt @yepracismsucks we can't wait to show everyone the pictures! #photography#photoglife#racismsucks
Time spent with girlfriends is always time well spent! ❤️❤️❤️As a wedding photographer, I get to be a part of some of the most important moments in people's lives. It also means I sometimes miss out on important moments in my friends or family's lives. BUT, it doesn't mean I can't create my own. Today, me and some amazing friends got to create a ladies day out for my best friend to celebrate her soon to be baby girl. Because if you can't make the shower, you bring the shower to her! 🎀💅🏻🤰🏼Today was a reminder that those 'important moments' are always around us. We just have to pay attention. So beyond grateful for today and the memories made. I can't wait to start sharing them with my soon to be NIECE! 💕💕💕 #makingeverymomentcount#egpwed

There's a moment right before a wedding ceremony begins where you can tell how nervous a groom is going to be. I like to think it's because this long-awaited major life event you're about to participate in goes from being an abstract idea to something that's seriously about to happen and for anyone whose been married before (myself included), the stress can be overwhelming.
It's hard to describe how the pressure of that moment hits you but, trust me, it comes on suddenly the minute you realize your life is about to change forever and for Toni and Scott's August wedding at Crystal Lake, which is the subject of my latest blog, that moment built steadily all morning for the groom-to-be but peaked on the short boat ride from the venue to the ceremony site.
In that small five-minute window, I watched as Scott, a pretty relaxed guy in my interactions with him previously, looked like every butterfly in the world was inhibited in his stomach. It was a touching moment, to be sure, but a somewhat funny one as it seemed every foot we got closer to his ceremony, the more his nerves acted up.
As I sat on the boat, I couldn't help but watch the groom-to-be as the rest of his groomsmen, some married and some not, gave him space and tried not to stress him out more than necessary but it was in this silence that I could see how important this day was to him and that type of emotion you simply can't fake.
Not that I can blame him. His wedding to Toni was absolutely perfect and, I'm sure, worth every bit of nerves he felt in the moments preceeding it and if you'd like to see it for yourself, head on over to my latest blog and check it out by visiting https://www.pauljspetrini.com/scott--toni or clicking the link in my bio.

I'm loving this signature book! The pages are incredibly thick with a matte finish, giving every image a touch of elegance. Check out how the pages unfold, leaving no crease! This one is for you @barringtonhillweddings!
Growing up, I would take baking classes, sewing classes, and (a personal favorite) polish dancing! 🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱 Nowadays, it's so difficult to make time to pursue your curiosities. If I had my dream schedule, I'd have ballet classes, fencing classes, French lessons, and floral arrangement lessons sprinkled throughout the week. What about you? 💐🤺🇫🇷
