A blue overnight #oats and #chia#breakfastbowl to brighten up the last few weeks of January... These #overnightoats are made with:
1/2 cup gf oats
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
1 tbsp maple syrup
Seeds from one vanilla bean
And 1 tsp butterfly pea flower powder by @bluechaitea to give this bowl its gorgeous blue hue.
Just add all the ingredients, stir (or shake) and leave in the fridge overnight. Hence the name: overnight oats!
Decorated with: banana stars (I finally found mini cookie cutters...It only took me to get to the UK to find them!), peanut butter chocolate #protein balls (made last night as well), dried cornflower petals and more #chiaseeds 💙🙏🏻

This is a book with a massive goal. Like our editor at Penguin says, “this is not just another vegan book. It’s reinventing a category.”
Our book aims to change the perceptions surrounding veganism, make the tent bigger, and bring veganism further into the mainstream.
And soon after we’ll be launching our startup with the same goals.
We’re shooting for the stars and view this as potentially the most pivotal point in our lives .
Our friend Victor Sjodin, the man who brought us into the vegan advocacy world 8.5 years ago, says this is our “calm before the storm.”
We’re pumped as fuck!
And as we move into the next phase we’re thinking of subletting our rooms in LA and going on a 1-2 month retreat away from LA starting mid-February to:

Modo de preparo: misture os polvilhos e o sal em um bowl e o azeite, água e o vinagre em uma xícara. Despeje o conteúdo da xícara sobre os polvilhos e mexa bem pra formar uma farofa. Adicione a baroa e o alho. Mexa com uma colher até virar uma massa homogenea e pegajosa. Unte as mãos com azeite e faça bolinhas (dão 6 médias). Coloque as bolinhas me uma forma (não precisa untar) e coloque no forno por 20 minutos (ou até dourar, mas não deixe demais senão ficarão pouco puxentos)

Junge, Junge, Junge, was war das für ein Beintraining?🏋🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️😅 Es war so unglaublich überfüllt🙄 Ich musste die ganze Zeit improvisieren, um meinem Trainingsplan halbwegs gerecht zu werden und bin die ganze Zeit hin und her gerannt, weil irgendwie alles besetzt war🤦🏽♀️ Ach, und natürlich nicht zu vergessen: Das angenehme Klima, wenn man sich im Fitnessstudio gefühlt stapelt🌝👌🏽 Geil, wenn man plötzlich das Gefühl hat zu kollabieren, weil man bei jedem Atemzug nach Luft ringend lediglich die Körperausdünstungen der anderen Mitglieder inhaliert👍🏽🙃 Aber abgesehen davon war mein Training eigentlich Text erfolgreich💪🏽😌 Ich war heute unglaublich fokussiert bei meinen Kniebeugen und nach dem Training hat mein gesamter Unterkörper + Bauch gezittert😎 Der Bauch tut das allerdings jetzt noch🙄🤦🏽♀️😅 - ich habe seit bestimmt einer Stunde ein andauerndes Muskelzucken in den oberen Bauchmuskeln (nervt ein bisschen das Ganze😁🙃) 🌝

Prep update, after 2-3wks of prepping my body fat is dropping rapidly and therefore I have slightly compromise a very lil muscle loss. What does this mean? I can eat more, drop out excess cardio (which I do, love to do) as I want to drop bodyfat not weight. Gain back a lil loss in my muscle plus add more, this is actually what I was planning (not the muscle loss) but the body fat yes.
Anyone can lose weight, but to retain or gain mass, in a deficit whilst dropping bodyfat is tricky, is an art, is science, and takes alot of knowledge, knowing your body and a combo of timing food, exercise, rest, recover and more.
This is why comp prep coaches are important to get you to stage. Doing the right thing at the right time takes hands on experience, no nutritional course, no PT training course teaches this. Every coach also has to see how the individual athlete reacts to the planning. I often have people ask me for a peak week plan for their comps, but not knowing their body in the weeks, months prior makes this impossible...I’d be guessing at what works at best!.
It’s a journey to stage. I teach all my clients along the way, what works for ‘their’ body. This way they can prep themselves in future on their own and many do very successfully. However, what one athlete does ‘will not’ generally suit another. So important you do, ‘YOU’ not what your favourite athlete does...it’s rare it will work for you too.

About 10oz of water (can add more if you want your smoothie more watery) 💦
1. Chop ingredients and blend. (Note: This is a chunky smoothie because of the high fiber ingredients of Celery, Pineapple and all of the greens) ** I actually didn’t even even touch the blueberries ☹️ I got full with the smoothie, lol. Oh well, at least I have washed blueberries to snack on later! 😉

Well nowadays, I’ll still enjoy a bountiful cereal bowl every once in a while, but here is the 🔑: look for as little ingredients and as little added sugar as possible. Best case scenario you find a zero added sugar, one ingredient cereal, like the puffed grain varieties @arrowheadmills makes. Truth be told puffed kamut is my FAV. Then, load in some chopped fruit, non-dairy milk, nuts, seeds, that nut butter drizzle and a cinnamon sprinkle 🥜🥣

I will keep growing. I will keep growing. I will keep growing. Before a plant makes a fruit, it is first a seed, then shoots growing to buds, then blossoms to fruit. Many fruit trees, including citrus, take about the same time to grow a ripe fruit from fertilized blossom to ripeness as a human takes to grow a baby from fertilization to birth. I find this small fact fascinating and I am continuously ever more amazed at the intricacies of the natural world around us. I also can relate these basic growth cycles to my own life. Some of us take longer to blossom and fruit than others, but with the right nourishment of ourselves - our mind, body, and spirit - and our dreams, we can bear fruit in our lives. They say best time to plant a tree was ten years ago and the second best time is now - It's never too late to start planting new seeds of change for the better or the seeds of a beautiful dream. Trying to get that “perfect shot” became the most visible waste of my time this last year. Not to mention trying the same pose over and over for one single shot has only led to two things: (in MY previous experience) injuries, and depending on the pose, imbalance. .
When you do the splits 4-10 times in a row to achieve the perfect shot, you’re putting so much strain on not just the muscles but ligaments as well (unless doing them THAT MUCH is really in your daily practice) and chances are, when you get the “perfect shot” it’s gonna be on your dominant side; so now tell me you’re really going to spend the time doing the splits 4-10 times on your bad side as well? Stay safe, always warm up, and no amount of likes are worth an injury.
