I know it's hard for people to believe that this is true, but IT IS!! You can work from anywhere! It's so much fun sharing health and wellness with people. Who doesn't need to hear about being their best and an AWESOME business opportunity!! I needed both and would Love for you to join me on this fun journey!! I get to meet so many people who want to help others too!! There are so many opportunities! Let's talk😊💕
D I G E S T I O N: not a super fun topic, but in the past month i've been learning just how important this system is to your overall health. did you know that 80% of your immune system is affected by your digestion?! and your digestive system effects every other body system. that was a wake-up call for me. so now digestion is something i think about all the time. ⠀
here are a few of the ways i support my digestive system daily: ⠀
-kombucha: i know, drinking fermented tea is pretty weird, but restoring G O O D bacteria to your gut is crazy important. i try to look out for buy one get one free sales at fresh thyme, or you can make your own! let me know if you want any tips, it can seem a little overwhelming at first⠀
-probiotic: i love YL's life 9, but it is always a good idea to rotate your probiotic. best to take one of these right before bed when your stomach is empty⠀
-essential oils: right now, i'm loving digize and peppermint. i either put them in a gel capsule and take as a supplement or just rub on my stomach with a carrier oil. there are other oils that will support your digestion as well, send me a message for others⠀
-digestive enzymes: gotta confess, I had never heard of these guys until I got them for free with my monthly YL order in September. then I was at a seminar on digestion a few weeks later and learned about how important they are for everyone to take, and now they are in my daily line-up. this specific type i take with my two biggest meals (usually lunch and dinner). enzymes help your body break down your food and allow for better/more efficient digestion. ⠀
-not pictured here, but I also take collagen daily. it's made from the bones of cows most often and works to heal your gut. I use @sportsresearch brand, it's a great one for the price AND it's on amazon prime. i'm a sucker for anything on prime.⠀
it seems like a lot to add, but i promise, once you get into a routine, it's not bad at all. start by adding just one and go from there!⠀
Inspired by Amy's story this morning and how Plexus has been a game changer in her life. #righttherewithyougirl
Meet Amy. 👇🏻👇🏻
"These two? My heroes.
They are the ONLY things that took care of my hubby's 5 years of chronic digestive issues. I am convinced that this is the best #probiotic on the market...and I am convinced that the teamwork these two are what got to the root of his health issues when everything else that we tried came up depressingly short.
We were taking probiotics and digestive enzymes long before it become cool and trendy to do so. Refrigerated ones. Expensive ones. Ones with BILLIONS of CFU's. We were making our own kombucha. We were juicing beets and eating purely clean and organic. We had holistic naturopathic doctors. We tried acupuncture. He had surgery. And he daily ate Tums and Zantac like they were candy.
These were the game changers.
These are why I have shouted about Plexus from the rooftops for almost two years solid. Jesus is the Great Physician.... He is the healer. He gets ALL the praise. And He led us to these products for which....again.....He gets ALL the praise." #forevergrateful#plexuslifer#stillnotafanofkombucha
#milkkefir is such an incredibly healing food for the #microbiome and the #immune system. Not only is it ridiculously high in number of #probiotics per gram (think in the vicinity of 5 billion cfu/ gram) but it boasts massive diversity in #probiotic strains (30-100). So much so that no off the shelf pill, capsule or powder probiotic can compete in either of these measurements. It's this probiotic #diversity which scientists believe may cause the unique immune regulatory effects. It seems as though Milk Kefir helps to "teach" the immune system when it should be ramping things up (in the case of coming into contact with a virus or pathogenic vector) that needs to be destroyed and when things are safe and shouldn't be attacked (such as autoimmune conditions and allergies) #guthealth#gutflora#nurtureyourgut#foodasmedicine#nutritionasmedicine#nutritionist#instadaily#fermentation#fermentedfoods
Some days I outdo myself. What a great morning. There was about 8 years that I didn't think I was going to have this opportunity. The hair and nails. The frill and fun of having girls. I make the most of every chance I get to do these things because of that. Also because they learn by example. They'll do the things they see now as parents themselves. It makes my heart smile knowing that Steve and I show them how to love and parent in such amazing ways. Plexus has been a huge part of making us healthier and happier. The kids notice more than we even realize.
R E C I P E | C O C O N U T Y O G H U R T
I am insanely excited about this!!! If your family is anything like ours and your kids eat about 4 tubs of coconut yoghurt per week you might also find yourself asking if you will have to sell a kidney or 2 to keep affording to buy it 😂 haha!
By far the easiest yoghurt I have ever made. It contains just 2 ingredients and no yoghurt maker is required!
And best of all, it only costs a little over $3 to make!
- 1 tin (400mls) organic coconut milk
- 2 probiotic capsules (not tablets, must be capsules)
O P T I O N A L
- Maple syrup
- Vanilla bean paste
Shake the tin of coconut milk well before opening and pouring into a glass jar.
Open the probiotic capsules and empty the powder contents into the coconut milk.
Stir until all combined. Place a paper towel (or cheese cloth if you have one) over the jar and secure it with a rubber band. *see notes
Leave in the warmest part of your house for 24-48 hours to do its thing ✌️✌️ **see notes
When the time is up give it a good stir as the coconut milk most likely will separate from the water. If you would like to sweeten and flavour it, add some maple syrup and vanilla bean paste to your liking!
Store in the fridge for up to 7 days. It will thicken up a bit more after refrigerated. So easy! **Notes - avoid using metal spoons when stirring as it will react with the probiotic. Use plastic or wooden. The longer you leave the yoghurt the tangier it will become. Taste test after 24 hours (not with a metal spoon) and see what you think!
Literally so excited that I can make this so quickly numerous times during the week now to keep up with the kids addiction!

I waited forever so I can build a sip bed and buy a new tent. I was unable to due to some unforeseen circumstances. So I worked with what I already had on hand
I made Soma style buckets. I took Soma's soil bed method and applied it to the buckets
There's a layer of lava rocks on the bottom with a weed mat separating the soil and the lava rocks. Then the pvc tube brings air into the lava rock layer below creating a bed of air below the soil surface providing more oxygen to the roots
These will veg for another 10-14 days then flower. I don't want them to get too big. I want to keep then in a 4x4- 5x5 area
Good morning - it's @thenutri_nurse 💛 PANIC NOT - This recipe is not as hard as you may think! This is a dairy free yoghurt alternative packed with those good bacteria to help you love your gut 🤗
Tin of full fat organic coconut milk
2 capsules of probiotic (a full list of necessary strains on my website but most probiotics have at least one)
Large tbsp maple syrup
Optional - I added 4 drops of myprotein toffee flavour drops
▪Place the coconut milk in a bowl
▪Break open the probiotic capsules into the coconut milk & add the maple syrup ▪Mix well until you have an even texture (this might take a little while) ▪Place in a sterile airtight jar/container ▪Place in a hot press for 4-6 hours then transfer into the fridge. The yoghurt might separate, that's normal don't worry!
Serve with your favourite toppings & enjoy 😘 #tasteofeire

A palette pleasing to the palate.
Are art and food so different? Maybe we don't feel the loss so quickly, but who can deny that art feeds our souls the way food feeds our bodies? Since all boundaries are false conceptions anyways, let's bring things together. Remember that a beautiful array of colorful food is visually attractive and healthy.
Japchae honestly remains one of my favorite foods since first trying it in Hawaii. My version of the korean noodle dish features noodles served with a ginger sugar soy sauce and fresh vegetables. I found sweet potato starch noodles at a market yesterday and then found sweet potatoes at the food bank today. They obviously belonged together. Served with my pink cabbage ferment and smoked sausage.
