For my New Peeps 😁 PLEASE READ.... 😌 Caldo de Pollo🐓 Chicken Stew🐓 Chicken Breast, Carrots, Chayote Squash, Mexican Squash, Celery, Onion, Tomatoes, Cilantro, Cabbage, Corn • Corn Tortillas with Guacamole • Queso Fresco • Salsa • This meal saved my life!  It really did!!! I got sick a few years ago.  Doctors/Specialists were never able to properly diagnose me or find what was making me sick.  They put me on cancer patient treatments and shrugged their shoulders as they looked at my medical charts and at my body covered in mystery hives! Almost like they gave up on me.  One even said "Well honey, I really don't know what to tell you!" After a year of blood work, hundreds of tests, misdiagnosis, and sooo many meds, I wasn't getting any better!  My life literally fell apart.  Every aspect of it.  I decided I had had enough.  No, I don't mean hurting myself... Which was probably the easy way out!  But I did the opposite!  I fought!! I stopped taking the meds.  I started drinking water.  I started exercising.. And for a few weeks, I decided to only eat Chicken Stew and Salads.  I wanted to eat as clean as possible.  I made sure I ate every 2 hours.  Little by little, I began to feel better.  My hives started to slowly disappear. Before I knew it, everything fell back into place.  It was then, when I realized the importance of food, water and exercise.  Eating clean is not just to be "fit" or skinny, it's to be healthy inside and outside, physically and mentally.  I also believe my anxiety started back then... And hopefully little by little, that too will be under control.  So this is not your typical #transformationtuesday but it is my best transformation til this day.  Being alive and healthier and blessed with two more little ones that remind me that I should be thankful everyday.  That I should keep fighting everyday for them and for Kim and Manny.  My transformation is not a weight loss one or a body builders one... It's my health one.  It's a lifestyle transformation.  And I wanted to share this with my new followers so you can see why I am so passionate about food and why I made it a habit to eat better and try my best to stay active.

-125gf de purée de noisette
-1oeuf
-20gr d’oléagineux -35gr de chocolats noir pure
La recette est hyper simple:
-préchauffez le four à 180*c, pendant ce temps, mélangez tout les ingrédients ensemble, faites des mini boules à l’aide de cuillères et placez les sur une plaque du four.

This bowl of goodness was powered by @pureblendco vanilla matcha protein, @clearspringuk matcha, tiger mylk made with the last of my @thetigernutcompany tiger nuts plus the usual suspects and topped with berries and a caramel buckwheat crumble🤩
I tend to always steam kale, bok choy or collards for smoothies as I feel they’re a lot gentler on my digestion this way..
And I find that often people with thyroid conditions do the same as one of the groups of foods that are recommended to be limited are the ones that contain goitrogens which are compounds that tend to block iodine absorption which could be an issue if you’re iodine deficient. And while in the past this was the most common cause of hypothyroidism, these days it occurs much more rarely. Also, for people that are already taking thyroid medications, goitrogens found in foods like brassica vegetables, cassava, soybeans, peanuts, pine nuts or millet, don’t seem to cause too much of a problem. Simply steam your cruciferous vegetables like cabbage, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, kale, cauliflower, mustard, turnips and cook or roast your beans, nuts and millet so that the goitrogenic compounds can be highly reduced.
And with a varied diet mainly based on whole foods you’ll have a healthy dose of thyroid supportive nutrients without problems.
But if you want to focus on specific ones, it’s important to include nutrients that are needed and involved in both the production of thyroid hormones but also in the conversion of T4 to the active form T3. Two of these is iodine and tyrosine, both required for thyroid hormone formation.
Zinc, copper and iron are  minerals which are necessary for the conversion of T4 to T3 and another key nutrient for the synthesis of thyroid hormone synthesis along with their activation and metabolism, is selenium.
