I tend to work myself into a frenzy over everything that “needs” to get done. I’m sure you can relate mommas!
I’m also always impatient for the next thing and the next thing...when my babies were tiny I was always anxious for the next milestone and the next one, instead of just enjoying whatever phase they were in.
I love this reminder to look at nature as an example of letting everything happen in its right time, and slowing down to really enjoy the journey and the process of life.
I’m making a conscious decision now to practice more mindfulness, more being, less rushing and doing. Mediation and journaling are a couple of my favorite ways to do this!

Been a really intense week and this morning I’ve had a hard time getting going - which is stressing me out because of the super soon deadline for the content for the awesome Happier course (we are filming in a week!) I was trying to grind through the work on my laptop and then noticed the sun was so bright outside.
So I took a moment to find a spot where I could feel it on my face. I smiled. It felt so good. And now I’m going back to work with a little more joy, a reminder that we are all like rays of sunshine in someone’s life.
