If you take two individuals with similar eating habits, exercise routines and daily water intake but one takes 5-10 medications daily and the other takes 3-4 plant-based, naturally derived supplements that include a multivitamin that helps their body absorb up to 400% more nutrients, a probiotic that contains 5 strands of good bacteria plus digestive enzymes and a fungal killer in one, a gentle, daily GI-tract and colon cleanse that helps oxygenate their cells and boost collagen and a drink that helps their body maintain healthy blood sugar, cholesterol and lipid levels and it helps curb their junk cravings...which person do you think will be healthier?! I might step on some toes here, but try to listen with an open heart. Who do you know that is on 5-10 different medications that you would consider “healthy?” It’s time that we get REALLY, REALLY HONEST with ourselves about this. Now, before you start hearing what I’m NOT saying...let me clarify. Medications aren’t all bad. In fact, in many cases medications are even NECESSARY. However, I do believe they are largely overused and over-prescribed.
Most people on 5-10 medications started off on only ONE, but what happened?! Side effects. So they get put on another for those side effects and that issue goes away, but another arises. Now they need another medication for the new side effects but can’t stop the other because it kept the side-effects from the first med at bay. Do you see the pattern?!?! Perhaps it’s about time that we all start working to protect our HEALTH rather than manage our sickness. What if we all started using the Earth to replenish our bodies key nutrients? What if we turned to vegetables and fruits, vitamins and minerals...things the EARTH produces to begin healing our bodies?
Just some food for thought...💁🏼 #punintended#crossfit#drinkpink#knowledgeispower#themoreyouknow#preventionoverprescription#gettotheroot#lemons#watermelon#raspberry#beetroots#dropthebeets#healthbeginsinthegut#refreshing#healthy#delicious#healthybenefits#tested#proven#theresultsarein#foodforthought#listentoyourbody#saygoodbyetosickness#hellohealthy
