To those of us born with their ☀ in Libra... Ⓗⓐⓟⓟⓨ Ⓑⓘⓡⓣⓗⓓⓐⓨ 🎉
Being ruled by Venus we appreciate all that is beautiful in this world and search for a partner to inspire us with their appearance. This might sound superficial, but the fact is we need both mental and visual stimuli to make the decision process easier. Once we have decided to be with someone we usually make serious, long-term bonds (we are the sign of marriage you know). Libras are very emotional and search for deep, meaningful relationships. To qualify one must be a good conversationalist and an equally good listener. For a Libra, the key to a happy life is in a fine balance of work and private life and if we don't find it we will feel like we need to set free from it. Our lives need to be enriched by music, art, and beautiful places. Balance, harmony and an equal partnership is very important for us to find. As a peacekeeper, we may find it difficult to choose sides sometimes or voice our own opinions in an attempt to avoid conflict. Thankfully, I personally have no problem in speaking up for myself. 😋
This guy and his snakes... Yesterday, Krystian went over to see an albino red tail boa constrictor that we are helping relocate and naturally, I went with him. Being the Polish python hunter that he is, he wanted to play with this nearly 7 foot long reptile that hasn't had any human interaction in quite some time. Keep in mind, I am holding a 6 pound chiweenie in my arms the whole time, which is a solid meal for this beautiful beast. He grabs the 30 pound snake from her enclosure, not easy considering her length. Everything is going fine and then BAM!! The snake bit the s*** out of him, which startled him and caused him to drop her a little. The next thing I know is that there is a 7 foot snake starting to move across the floor towards me and I have snake food in my arms. Y'all, I ran up so stairs so damn fast!!!!!! I mean, I video Krystian handling rattlesnakes and water moccasins, but this was scarier than any snake/alligator/spider experience to this day! Afterwards, I explained to Krystian how scared I was and his response was "Really?! That's nothing to me..." as blood is pouring out of his arm. Y'all... 😳 #werescueallthesnakes 🐍#hewantsanothercobra 😅
Day 1 in Grayson Highlands - Climbed 1,500 ft. over Pine Mtn, which is mostly forested in. Descended to the gap, and on the ascent up Stone Mtn a scrubby, highly unusual Appalachian landscape emerged. Surrounded by fall wildflowers, early autumn foliage, crickets, butterflies and birds time slows; or perhaps falls away. Stopping to take it in, the loudest sound on the mountainside was the rustling of leaves on the sparsely populated trees, accompanied by the steady hum of what had to be thousands of crickets. As articulated in a Gary Snyder poem I recently read, this is real, real life.
Going on vacation for a week, snakes are setup and staying at home with fresh water and clean enclosures and full bellies! Tiberius is coming with us and he's in his own little traveling apartment. Has been for the last couple of days. Cute baby.
I thought "whilst I'm at mum's I'm gonna weigh myself for the lols" and my god. It's crazy to be back down at 13 stone and nearly back into the higher end of 12 stone! The first picture was taken 7th December 2016, so since then I have lost a stone and a half (with a tiny bit of weight gain in the middle) and I am so frickin proud of myself for doing so.
